Doctor, it's hard to believe that such an educated, well spoken and nice lady would be anxious to speak on camera, we all have our own anxieties. You're a natural, you have a wonderfully soothing voice and explain things so well. Your compassion shines through. I have always been fascinated by the lives of people who murder, not in the gruesome details of the act, rather, what led them to this point. As you've said, it can help us to see the signs and patterns to look out for. A psychiatrist told me, twelve years ago, that I was lucky to be alive, because my ex husband was delusional - mostly from abuse of drugs - which shocked me, but the signs were there, looking back. I understand why I didn't allow myself to see the danger I was in, my life had always been chaotic, I just wanted a "normal" life and marriage, so much so, that I looked past most of the abuse, telling myself that it would be good again the next day. It's amazing what we'll live with in the hopes of a person or relationship getting better, healthier. Thank you for all that you share, it's most interesting.
These are brilliant. Thank you for sharing these, education is a wonderful thing. You are much better on camera, hard as it may be, you really are a natural.
Doc u r the best on UA-cam and TV. I’m going back watching all u have done and u r Simply the BEST! I retired working as a therapist for 20 years for DOD. I would love to know your thoughts on Lori Vallow Daybell after her friend Melanie Gibb’s 3 part interview. That interview has changed my view somewhat. Do u think 🤔 Lori believes Chad Daybell’s ability to receive revelation (thru his portal?)
For this woman to claim "it's obviously a case of matricide" is bizarre. Was Cameron Ely convicted of murder in a court of law or does this woman just make up whatever narrative she wants? Funny how in all other criminal matters for living people, the media and people adamantly asseverate that they will "wait for the jury verdict" and always defer to that. But in a case where a person is innocent as a matter of law (i.e. never even charged with a crime, let alone convicted), these same sanctimonious people automatically go on to presume he killed the mother. LOL.
@@dreamzofhorses - It implies an illegal homicide. Otherwise she would have called it an act of self defense. Cameron Ely was not convicted of any crime. And as a matter of law, he is innocent.
This tragedy is so incredibly sad, its really an insult to survivors to speculate publicly without knowing the particulars in that family. The mental field has a long and (from my perspective) very questionable rationale for determining behavior. They enjoy using the round peg to fit a square hole for situations that are far more complex than a simple cause and effect scenario. When you consider one of their pillars of logic comes from Freud (who was anything but a scientist) it should give most people pause. This video reinforces that reckless philosophy. A "featured crime analysis"? What a puff piece. We don't know intent. We don't know if the cocaine in his system altered his reasoning and his mother was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. The family itself might be utterly unsure. But "science" needs a villain! So here we have Dr. Quack come out and theorize he was either an idiot, an abused child, or a cold calculated murderer. What deep thinking... What this paper thin "analysis" actually demonstrates is a reliance on stereotypes to sell a false premise that only a "SCIENTIFIC FORMULA" can deduce a logical outcome to an illogical event. This family lost a beloved mother and son and we should not dilute that tragedy by looking for a television ending so we can get on with our lives, while they try to pick up the pieces from theirs. Its such a detached and uncaring reaction.
I'm curious if you watched the entire video before making this comment. The video wasn't called "Reasons Why Cameron Ely Could Have Killed His Mother". The entire beginning of the video, she's just talking about information gathered from the cases that we do know more about why someone killed their parent. Around/after 13 minutes, she brings up Cameron and says we don't know enough about his life to truly speculate on why he may or may not have done it. Where does she say he was either an idiot, abused, or cold and calculating? I found her to be very respectful of the people involved in this case, especially towards the end when she was specifically talking about them.
@@xMissing01x Lets not play semantics here. I watched the entire video and she staged different scenarios, none of which may apply to this case, to illustrate how and when (she thinks) kids kills their parents. And within those scenarios she made statements of absolutes regarding the likeliness of these having a role in THIS case. When you don't know, you don't know. Saying " I'm a professional" coupled with a site that summarizes her video by stating this is a FEATURED crime analysis EXAMINING this incident, doesn't give you license to offer conjecture, absent of facts. This is nothing but a puff piece exploiting this tragedy at the expense of the people who suffered the loss. There is no respect given to the survivors in the least. Even less to those who died.

Doc you’re a natural. We love the education you give us. Please keep it up 👍 and thank you 🙏🏻

You are awesome! Saw you on dutyron.
The daughters released tape of the police encounter with Cameron. NO THREAT WAS IDENTIFIED.

Your volumn is too low.
Does it say SKEET in the top right corner?

matricide is a definition of what you call a child who kills the mother. Seems pretty clear that is what happened.

She really said nothing.
