@@soundforge8096 are the magnets glued to the back or no. If not then I would think the potting might solve the problem. I would think the potting wouldn’t let the pickup pick up frequencies from the sides. I think that’s why when your tapping on it it’s so microphonic. I don’t know though I’m not a professional I just like playing the guitar and working on guitars. Good luck.
what a good video friend, I have this same problem in my pickups Hopefully and with this process you can solve that annoying Tab hiss. like
