Yeah, that bit about them copying human technology to blend in doesn't hold up considering that they revealed their existence to humans from the very first episode, effectively rendering their disguise redundant. Even in vehicle mode, they're easily outed by their lack of a driver.
The Japanese moved on from season three as if the season four headmasters that was shown in the West never happened. So no, not a continuation of the three part that we in the West grew up with. The takara series from Japan had three parts to it. The headmasrers, super-god force and victory
