- How to make & turn inexpensive ingredients into a gourmet ramen, restaurant Japanese type chicken ramen/noodle. That you can do easily & enjoy eating. I do this when I was a student in college to save money. Also good for student hack cooking. Enjoy.

1 small chicken quarter
6 cups water
1 pack seasoning from instant ramen soup package
1 baby bok choy, small
2 packages ramen noodle, any variety
1 egg, soft boiled for 5 minutes
1 tsp sesame oil
pinch white pepper
Chef's Tip: Immediately submerse boiled egg in ice water for 10 minutes before peeling and slicing in half. - Навчання та стиль

About 6 minutes on the egg?
I do this with beef too but marinate (soy & oyster sauce & wine) the beef and stir fry before adding to the soup if its a tough cut to make it tender.

Hello Chef. Great looking soup. I'm sure it really fills you up. Speaking of lunches, I made a Chinese for the girlfriend and I while her mother and sister were away. It was beef mixed vegetables lo mein. The girlfriend loved it. This weekend, the girlfriend will be away so for her mother and sister, I'll make shrimp celery with red peppers in oyster sauce along with my traditional Chinese fried rice. I love noodles but wouldn't the dish taste better if you use regular Chinese or Asian noodles?
You wouldn't get the flavouring sachet though.
