Un verdadero espectáculo ver al Director Maestro, Manuel López dirigiendo la orquesta con toda la pasión que amerita esta obra..

This performance is full of latín fire and dashing enthusiasm. One of the facts that strikes me the most is the way of Manuel López Gómez Conducted in that Concert. He was there for María José the Principal Flute player very charming as well as for Leonardo Dean the first Bassoon. The Horns Section was súper as well as Pacho and d'Amico in the trompets section. José Antonio Otero in the 1st Violín section was sat at the last stand leading from there the whole section. María Beatriz Cárdenas Viola Principal with her sweet so sweet way of playing., Carrying beautiful what Carmen Borregales did playing her clarinete. Victor and his Oboe lighted the Hall un the 2nd movement. The Contrabass section and Roy García and María Gabriela Figueroa leading one of the most complete cello section of the Simón Bolívar Symphony María José Romero, José David Márquez, Benito liendo, Kenny Aponte, Christopher Ibarra, Franklin Altuna & Walter Carbonara. Thank you guys, you help a lot to make my day in that concert, I was very satisfied because I played all the notes at letrero C of the 4th movement . Finnally Manuel López Gómez one of the most finest Conducters I have ever played un My life. Bravissimo!!!!
La Orquesta Sinfónica de Venezuela "OSV" es la Orquesta Top de Venezuela, con tantos musicos venezolanos con demasiado talento es una meta grande llegar a ocupar una silla en dicha orquesta, y de ahí para el mundo, y que no se diga mas nada (aplausos y mas aplausos)

Una grande esecuzione diretta da Manuel Lopez Gomez con la Simon Bolivar che Tchaikovshy in una lettera così scriveva "È il fato: quella forza oscura che impedisce all’impulso alla felicità di raggiungere il suo obiettivo; quella forza che gelosamente assicura che felicità e pace non siano complete e serene - e che avvelena costantemente il cuore. Una forza invincibile." Quella serenità e felicità che mai raggiunse e che Manuel Lopez Gomez risolve benissimo...Meraviglioso!

Searched for a performance to match the SBYO in London under Dudamel until I came across the grown ups doing this one. Couldn't get much further away from Moscow than Caracas but I rather think this is what Tchaikovsky imagined when he wrote this piece. He was an extremely emotional character and all too often his pieces are played with a reserve and rigidness the composer just didn't possess. Bravo, Manuel. The crescendos at the end are spine tingling.

Una bonita sinfonia, con un principio brillante, un segundo movimiento suave y delicado, un tercero alegre y animado y un final apoteósico. La orquesta y su director, sobresalientes. Me ha gustado mucho.

By far one of the most accurate and precise version I have ever played (I was leading the fifth cello stand) from there I did my very best. Manuel López Gómez hasn't have the just recognition that he deserves...he doesn't care but Mtro Abreu has a very Special attention to him.

I've been listening to performances of the Tchaikovsky 4 for a long time--it's probably my favorite symphony of all--and this is one of the most satisfying performances I've ever heard. Such thrilling and lyrical playing and wonderful conducting. The scherzo is surely the best I've ever heard, and I, II, and IV are top notch as well. Bravo!
I enjoyed this symphony very much , he brought out the detail I noticed at 6:00 minutes where the woodwinds have a nice section one after the other that the cello theme in counterpoint doesn't lose its volume and disappear as it does in many famous recordings . This performance is nice a fresh and the players clean and outstanding

I love this 1st movement of the Symphony No. 4....by Tchaikovsky...especially the wonderful French horns and flutes. I have listened to 4 or 5 orchestras play this beautiful music and I feel this orchestra is the best recording. The conductor and the musicians are very much into the spirit of the music.

I love this work ,it has modern elements as it was composed just 10 years before Mahlers symphony no 1 I always thought Tch. had good orchestration , he did after all write a book on this subject himself . The contrasts of moods is remarkable . He is one of the view people I still like in the romantic era

Estás en lo cierto, están a la altura de los mejores músicos y orquestas del mundo, nada de nada para envidiar a otras agrupaciones musicales más allá de nuestras fronteras.
I used to have a dog that developed some sort of musical taste. If I played Mozart, she would come from another room and lay down in front of the speakers. The only other thing I noticed was when I played this 4th Symphony, she would whine and get up and leave the room. I think those opening trumpets must have hurt her ears.

Muy correcta, un poco tiesa, y algunas desafinaciones y descuadres que los ladinos nunca le hacen a Dudamel. Para las dificultades olímpicas de la 4a de Chaikovski y los excesos a que esta orquesta nos tiene acostumbrados, está muy precisa, salvo por algunos accelerandi innecesarios
