I was doing the exact same thing. Warmoth looks great. I was just hesitant about the 24 fretboard option, it looks weird...I actually put up a thread on the forum asking for real 24 fret necks only hours ago in the suggestion sub-forum. Hopefully one day...

sure my friend, i was lucky to find one in manchester u.k. so i am no hot shot player. but i gotta say i love ibanez, i had so many types of guitars, till recent i bought the rga 32, mol, it real sweet, nice and cozy, so i will pick the rgv 460 vfm soon. i just gotta pay the balance off.

Jesus Christ I want the exact same guitar and I've been looking everywhere, I'd either build my own guitar from custom parts or go for the Rasmus GG signature which is just over 1k :)
Ibanez, keep on the good work!!! THIS KICK ANY FENDER ASS OFF EASILY!!! I would love to buy this but im too poor though. :-( Do make these type of model available every year so i could get one when i can afford it.
Ibanez seems to be the only real player in the development and marketing of new and innovative tremolo systems. I know there has been other trems similar to this one using bearings to pivot on ( I think Kahler had one in the 80's ) but this one looks so nice, compact and suits the styling of the guitar. Ibanez is still my choice guitar and I own 3 Ibanez's amongst others. I think I want one of these.............

Damn, they did have a couple in the UK about a month or so ago, but now all of the ramus guitars are gone... I know exactly how you feel about the whole Guthrie and perfect guitar thing, I'm the exact same way. Suhr are pretty ridiculously priced, but I guess you pay for what you get so it'll be an awesome guitar. I guess what you could do is just go Warmoth, it's what I was going to do. I totalled it without a finish at about $500 or so I think... Minus hardware of course.
I wish I could get a more traditional strat type neck from Ibanez...Nobody makes a guitar I like, which is basically a strat with 24 frets, knife edge/edge zero non locking trem and HSS/HSH pickups, basswood/mahogany body with a maple top and a standard C neck. It doesnt seem so difficult...But I have to spend like 3-4k to get this.
how do these trems stay in tune?

Wow who is this guy? I wish I could play like him. I am a beginner and I want as my first real guitar is an Ibanez Saber. And now since I seen this Ibanez I want that as well. So if there is anyone that reads this that can help me learn the terms and the vocabulary of playing the guitar I would appreciate it.

They took it out of the Ibanez website and no other retail store has them. Yeah it is that hard. If it's so easy for you then buy me one.

MuddahFukkah No, the RG460 has better ones (Ibanez infinity). I own that guitar. Nice tremolo indeed and the sound is like 80s Metal ;-)

Ibanez need more fixed or non-locking S series!
I have the Ibanez RG460VFM for around 3 months now. Its a really good instrument, very satisfied. Do check out my cover of Waves by Guthrie Govan which I played on that guitar if anyone is interested :)

I asked to be imported here in Brazil and the guy said that it´s only avaiable in Europe, not in the US; so it´d be very expensive to import it. Pitty!

Seems like a great guitar but people must be aware of his skills, probably any guitar would sound great in his hands.
Honestly I really can't say I appreciate the sound of these 2..their playability might be amazing,but the overall sound seemes sterile and with no personality to me (just like many other ibanez models I've tried).

Dont get a guitar with a tremolo. It will cause you more pain than you need when youre starting out. Something like a RGA32 will be good. The ones in this video are good, if you would be willing to learn how a tremolo works and how to deal with one.
That Suhr isnt even available any more. Where have you seen it? Guthrie designs my perfect guitars, but the prices are ridiculous!! Its just 3 or 4 good quality pieces of CNC'd wood joined together, painted and then some hardware is installed. They charge $700 for a scalloped neck which only requires someone putting the neck in a machine and turning it on...Suhrs profit margins must be through the roof. And I hate it"!£!"£"$4
