MEN IN BLACK: ALIEN ATTACK Test Track

Rare on-board footage (no audio) of the secret test track for the MIB:AA ride vehicle, inside one of the warehouses backstage at Universal Studios Florida, probably around late 1999. This simple loop track had a few turns so we could test the dynamic of the spin/positioning of the vehicle as it moved around corners. We also set up simple paper targets around the track, to facilitate interactive game testing.

Its cool having a behind the scenes look at a ride in development. Itd be cool if theme parks did it today with the new rides coming out, would deffinatly add more hype seeing the stages. Then again I get why they keep everything under wraps until opening day too.

Who manufactured the ride?

RanHam335 the ride vehicle system was manufactured by MTS, same company that built Cat in the Hat next door, and Indiana Jones at Disneyland
