Thanks. What gets me on this style of step is you really have to watch your step the whole way. I rather have steps in sets of normally sized treads with longer sections of flat walkway. My sister has. Front walk like this layout, and I think it’s a hazard.

Can you use 2x6 instead of 2x4 for a deeper floating look or would that be too much of a pain to get out after pouring

If u used able flex on top n bottom of the 4x2 under the lip they should come out easier
