    Lol, hilarious narrating, just found your channel to learn more on how to find crappies and whities. Keep them up!

    Great videos..... ordered a thumper from Eric. Looking forward to trying it out for whitebass and striper. Studying your videos on mapping for where to start looking for whitebass in my home lake

      Hi Jim:
      You're doing the right thing. My method is one way to catch them, and watching the mapping videos is a really good way to break down lakes into manageable chunks, Let me know your progress. Thanks for your support, Tim

      Thanks Tim I'll let you know how it goes. I may need to ask a few questions about my lake when I get started if you don't mind?

    Welcome back my friend!! Was praying that you were safe and well. My wife and I had a great outing on Somerville yesterday catching whites and crappie.

      Yardley Kennedy Hi Yardley, thanks for your kind note. I had to deal with the Covid quarantine, and just couldn’t get to fish. 5 weeks are as long as I’ve gone in a long time. I’m at the coast for the next few weeks, so hopefully I get some saltwater action in... I see that Somerville has been putting out some fish. Send pics so I can see how the Crappie are there! Tim

    What size and model # garmin do you have ? Awesome video

      Steven, I have the basic Echomap Plus 93SV, 2 of them networked together so the front unit and center console units see the same Livescope view. It’s all you’ll need. You can get them on sale for $600, which is a good price. If you get one, make sure you invest in a GPS trolling motor first, being able to stay on spot is the key to LVS success. I’ll help you get setup, Tim

      @@skunkedagain I already have spot lock and the garmin live scope transducer, was thinking about the 1222 map gps

      Steven Webb Unless you want the large screen, the $ difference is not worth it, to me because you won’t get better LVS image. Although you can get better mapping and SI with the 1222Map, but they are pricey! The big step function is the LVS, making the screen much much less important to me. But that’s just me.

    Cool seeing they all on live-scope like that. I don’t care much for potlicker. Until they come trolling and pulling all the fish away from the spot.

      Ken Huynh We were actually teamed up together and once one of us found the fish, we called the others to the spots. Thanks for your comments Tim

    What’s the thumping term you refer to

    • @skunkedagain
      @skunkedagain  4 роки тому +1

      Automatic thumper that hits the bottom of the boat to attract fish. Whoat??? sounds strange but it works. I have some videos on this channel with it running while fishing. It can be annoying to the viewer so I'm trying videos without it. Check this one out after I installed the automatic thumper, and you'll hear the thumping sound, ua-cam.com/video/jpCE6fgU2qc/v-deo.html

      I bang my boat hull with my net handle to attract the perch on the bottom. I’ll look into an automatic lol

    • @skunkedagain
      @skunkedagain  4 роки тому

      Yes, that’s how I got started too. But I had to drop it when I hooked on. So, I got the automated one. Look up ThumEmUpFishing.com for the best one on the market. Tell Eric you want the SkunkedAgain thumper. Where do you fish? Tim

      skunked again what a great video! I am a proud member of pot lickers anonymous! Nothing is more fun than working as a team to find fish (plenty of guides do it!). I love the “Christmas Tree Effect” when those fish were coming off the bottom! Thumpers are definitely critical this time of year, you need to be reeling in fish vs. banging the boat!
