Savage Country is the place to go for legendary parts. All those clothing racks are where they’re at.
Not just there but any clothing rack or hanging clothing bag can have them. Laundry mat could have a bunch of them too

Preacher gloves are so overpowered, they are absolutely meta right now. I mean, who is going to miss out on up to +50% damage on zombies?
@@engineeringtheapocalypse me. Commando gloves give the same extra dmg, only with ranged weapons instead of undead dmg. So also against animals etc. Either commando or assassin for early game sneaking around.
The "etc" in that comment is doing incredible amounts of heavy lifting because the etc is "players in pvp" and that's it. Preacher still best.
Me. I prefer full raider for a str build, or assassin for an agility build. The stats work for the intention & I refuse to be unfashionable.
Full assassin gear is kinda wonky as you can just hide behind anything and they'll forget about you instantly. Other than that yeah, hard to beat preacher gloves.

The bonuses of full set of armor increases with the level of the lowest piece you wear, so that 15% crit damage resistance you got is capped by the level 3 headwear, I imagine that if min level of all pieces is 4 then the bonus is 20%, 25% if all pieces are lvl 5 and 30% crit resist if all pieces are level 6
cant wait for IZ to complete tier 6, he's going to be so pissed, i just completed and actually laughed at the reward choices.

I just did the Navezgane stadium as a T5 quest, and man all I can say is I was glad I brought all the ammo I could get. a pool of red dots on the compass and the next minute you found yourself running back to the (American) football field again with 1000s of ferals on yourr tail. just to be given 5k gas and a blueberry pie as a reward.
oh and btw, if anyone's taking the stadium as a quest, the end loot room has at least 1 demolisher in there.

LVL 6 enforcer outfit has 40% crit resist. U only get like ~14 armor tops from it with +2 armor mod, but 40% crit resist from single item is huge. My go to in terms of legendary is: Raider head (100% stun resist/~21 armor), enforcer outfit (40% crit resist/~14 armor with mod), preacher gloves (60% undead dmg/~14 armor with mod) and boots are optional. I'd go for ranger (60 stamina/~19 armor with mod), cuz flat stamina gives you more swings per stamina bar than 20% mele reduction, at least on lower levels and with low stamina weapon. Sledge benefits way more from those 20% ofc. So overall ~68 armor/59 crit res.
UPD
I think TFP forked up something, did some tests, 20% is defo better even tho the math says otherwise (i am actively RECOVERING stamina (with only 6.3 stamina regen/sec) at a pretty damn fast rate while light swingig button that SHOULD cost ~7 stamina per swing (15,5 stamina -55% (25% from lvl4 perk, 10% grip, 20% boots) and does ~88 swings per min, so it should go down, slowly, but should BUT IT'S NOT).
they did increase the book store frequency, most words i make nowadays, in bigger cities there is 1-2 bookstores, dunno why they did that after saying they want to slow down the progression lol
I’ve only found 1 country book store so far in my world, not been to the wasteland yet or fully explored the Snow/Wasteland biomes
I have 1 tier 0 in all of the forest biome and 1 in all of the burnt forest lol. Haven't found any in the desert yet but have another city to check. In the real big city in my snow biome there is 3 on the same boulevard lol
There were a few mods that would remove the random variance from weapons back in A21. If none of them update for 1.0, I may have to take a stab at it.
Full Preacher armor is one of two outfits worth wearing into PoI's, with Raider being the other if you just want to be an unstoppable tank with steel claws. If you're worried it won't have enough armor, there actually is a perk in the Agi tree to help fix that since Preacher is Light armor. Granted, it's normally considered a waste of points, but this may actually be the corner case that makes that perk viable.
full set of preacher level 6 gives a 100 infection resistance chance and a 40% critical resistance chance just with the bonus. my level 6 set gives 49.43 armor rating, 56% armor crit resistance and 49.5 explosion resistance just in case you want to know the full bonus. also for legendary parts in my pla through I have been finding them constantly in bags, cupboard, and other normal basic looting containers. I was able to get 1 or 2 on my first day. Good luck finding yours
I'm finding that the loot differences in forest biome vs. other biomes is very noticeable. I've found legendary parts in Tier 1 POIs in the burnt forest, so do your own cost-benefit before taking on Tier 5's.
The crafting levels are all worked out to where better items always have better stats. It's been this way since A21. What I think would be cool is if quality 6 items had a little bonus on them. (e.g. Quality 6 mining tools have a 5/10/15/20% increase on gold/silver/diamond drops when mining.) It could incentivize (normal players 🙂) to craft a quality 6 for tier 2 items, knowing tier 3 items could be a while.
I would go heavy armour for the better protection. I'm pretty sure the damage reduction from the preacher armour works like the skill - after your light armour let 60% the damage through, that then gets reduced by some %. Much worse than all heavy armour, which eats 80% of the damage right away, with mods you can get close to 90%.
I think the set boni are not really worth it if you have to take an otherwise useless part (like extra pockets) in order to get it.
Clothes shelves and clothes racks have a higher chance to drop legendary parts. If you put on the nerdy glasses + lucky goggles mod, it increases that chance. Iirc, laundry machines, laundry baskets, and dress coats also have a chance at dropping them.
I have an intellect build with agility. I love my preacher set. I rarely get infections or other injuries and I'm able to jump around with turrets on the ground backing me up. I thought I would hate the preacher set, but I swear by it now

I believe t5 and t6 quests give legendary parts as rewards. And t5 complete gives 5 I think. I dont remember what t6 gives. T6 quests are only given by joel
Damn, what a great episode! That SMG is a beauty, but i think you might be surprised how good a full set of preacher gear with armor mods would be. I feel like the injury resist would make you spongy as hell. GL with the hunt for the parts, excited for the next video.
Guns require SO many parts now. Even just level 1 autoshotguns cost like 20 shotgun parts.
Your map gen was very lucky for books. My game I have not seen a single booktore yet and I am into the snow biome and day 21. Grats on your luck and great videos.
when im after legendary parts i raid schools and savage county. the spawn rate is higher in containers for clothing so places with high amounts of lockers, clothes racks, and dressers are a really good.
Haven't played the new update yet, but from what it seems from other UA-camrs, it kind of looks like they've buffed book store spawning but removed or at least nerfed getting trader quests for them.
Also I think legendary should auto max rolls from their tier 5 and the extra mod slot.

I got 10 Legendary parts before day 12. You just need to check every single cloth container there is.
Preacher armours full combo T6 set effect is really powerful offering 40% very resistance and complete immunity to infection
Infection is kinda pointless by the time you make good armor tho, meds are plentiful
for heavies i stun with baton then use knife or machete to bleed then switch back, reduces kill time
I got 4 legendary parts inside the Army Post 7 in the desert. It’s a tier 5. I’m not on that level of quests. It’s a tough clear but not impossible especially with your weapons
Best place I have seen for legendary parts are clothing containers like Landry basket clothing piles and other such containers. Lvl of poi does not seem to affect the drop rate so I would just bang out low level quests or clothing department stores
You have a 3 pocket mod you can use on your gloves

For finding legendary parts, most of the ones I've found have been in lvl 2 houses in the garment bags in the closets. I'm on day 4 with 3
Pulled 11 legendary parts out of one of the big savage country, each set of mannequin displays on the outside walls had at least one in it.
I thought they slowed progression down but in my first play on intellect I’ve progressed way faster than Alpha 21. I maxed out daring adventure and better barter and Bob was selling motorcycles and 4x4’s on day 9 IzPrebuilt
I got 5 legendary parts once as a reward for completing a quest tier but I can't remember if it was T4 or T5.
i recently just got that too, for finishing the kill cops zombies quest (kinda made the mistake of taking cruci rather than 4 legendary parts which i regretted as soon as i grabbed it)
Got 4 for completing the Kill Cop Zombies too...given my T6 complete had 1 lol
turning in those quests without daring adventurer 4 is a waste.

savage outfitters... the clothing racks.. 1 in 4 for a leg part the loot table is cloth, leather, and armor parts with leg parts beinging the lowest.. i got lucky looter maxed and in the desert i got a totals of 11 from the poi
you should get the mod that tells you what POI the quests are located when you look at the jobs so you don't have to look at the job to see where they are
I love my t6 preacher outfit. On top of the 20% crit resist you get 100% infection resistance and the mobility is great. Oddly enough it's been great on my brawler build, not as great on my spear build.

I started a new game focusing on the stun baton because of this/ On day 15 and it's awesome
4:06 NGL when you turn around to see these 3 ambushers coming for pincer attack it looks quite intimidating, almost scary if your armor wasn't so heavy
6:47 "when did you take this much damage, lets eat this bandage" you started the POI with about 100hp and got hit twice, you were talking about not having bandages on your hotbar before you even got in your gyrocopter.
TFPs idea of reasonable crafting times: creating an outfit out of nothing but parts = 2 seconds; scrapping an outfit into parts = 14 seconds; putting together a weapon = TeN hOuRs!
you were hit 5 times and were still above half health, you don't get hit often enough to really need lots of armor and damage resist, you're a good enough player and have the crowd control stun baton that you can get away with less DR and more crit protect, because you still do get hit, but not enough to really need to shy away from preacher gear
I loot all the garbage bags, duffle bags, boxes, etc. I have 11 legendary parts. 2 were gotten in a duffle bag in a chute in the firehouse job.
LEgendary Parts, In Desert I did Savage Country, I came out with 9 Legendary parts, 19 Armor parts and crap toin of Cloth & Polymer ... PS Polymer with Barter Buffs 1000 can sell for about 5K.
preacher outfit was 20% crit resist, then TFP thought that was too much, so they reduced it to 15%, and totally ignore the preacher gloves
Also can get legendary parts from the clothing store its all in the rng with that though
I literally just learned here that you can put multiple different pocket mods onto the same armor piece.. That makes things better. I saw the 4-pocket mod and only 4 armor slots and assumed that we would have to take at least 1 rank in Pack Mule to get all of the inventory back.. have you always been able to stack multiple pocket mods onto the same armor pieces? Something always made me think you couldn't..

Not sure if it was a mistake, but I was max lucky looter and found a few tier 6 weapons in the waste land. Even thou I thought you can't find them anymore.

FULL LVL 6 ASSASSIN! It was made for you... actually, it's REALLY cheese. Seriously, you don't need Preacher gloves... you're freaking in God Mode and practically invisible. They practically forget you're there as they're running toward you. It's also Medium and quiet as hell with decent armor.

You sound so irritated that the preacher full set bonus is so good 😂 (which I get cause honestly it’s one of the most ridiculous looking armor sets aside from the nerdy set in my opinion…I mean who would run around the apocalypse looking like that nerdy one or as a fucking priest😂)
It's more that i'm annoyed by how genuinely useless the helmet effect is in combat lol
@@IzPrebuilt also fair. I don’t understand why some of the armor pieces are good but others are garbage in each set if they wanted people to do full sets in 1.0 for the additional bonuses
I wish they increased the base speed of the vehicles. I can understand the speed of the bicycle and minibike but the motorcycle seems rather slow and the gyrocopter doesn't seem any faster.
And I can't find a supercharger mod, or any vehicle mods anywhere
I got 11 legendary parts from double looting a super savage country... but I think my whole playthrough has been blessed by the gods of RNG.
if you find pistols and scrap them you now get 5 pistol parts for any level pistol. so while they upped the amount of parts you need to make level 6 you also get more parts for scrapping the weapons. so after typing this I noticed he only got one part for scrapping a level 6. but I am getting 5 when I scrap. so I'm wondering if it has something to do with maxing out scrapping skill?
You must have great seed, I am playing in two diff games right now, one alonr and one with my daughter, and I am struggling hard to find book stores in both.

Someone needs to tell the FunPimps that the book system is poorly designed. By the time you get enough books to make a high-end weapon, you've already gotten one from questing. I just finished Tier 1 quests and am moving on to tier 2 and the quest rewards for Tier 2 quests are better than anything I can make. It looks like this continues well into the mid and even later part of the game. You've got a nice stun baton in this clip, was it made or was it a reward?
It's too bad the Learn by Reading system is forcing you to keep looting bookstores. I understand why, I do it in my own game too, but it makes it boring constantly having to hit the bookstores again and again.
Also. I’m officially an idiot cause I didn’t know you could change the level of crafted items back down to lower levels until you looked at the boots 🙃
I bought guns and scraped for the parts it was far cheaper than hoping for them in pois lol but i got better barter and adventurer maxed with a t6 ranger hat with all the right mods, a mag 44 and the candy when i go do it lol ahhhh that amazing intelect tree IZ, will you be going with robotic turrets on this build though? i have a drone and a lvl 6 rob turret while at first i laughed putting a drum mag, a rad remover, a cripplem and a shot gun choke mod in them drop them at a poi entrance run in gather it all up and just stand to the side with my t6 baton with a rep mod while the junky shoots man its amazing the only down side is the junky seems to like the button on the demos
I can't do an armor with a giant Christian cross on it, it's such a symbol of abuse. Too weird and creepy for me. That's just me, though.

the cost to craft your tier 6 pistol and than to scrap it to only get one weapon part out of it is insane , not even your legendary part you get back . this game is rolling downhill fast
mods dont add their value or more to item when selling, might as well sell separate or scrap

curse you IzPrebuilt. Your 200 calories for 1 corn plant statement made me go on a rabbithole of nutritional values. Apparently your blind guesstimate was entirely correct. Corn on the cob has 180 calories, the plant itself is cooked in some regions but has little to no nutritional value. A corn-plant usually only has 1 cob. There are genetically modified variants that have up to 4 cobs, but we weren't talking super-corn ingame either...
