Someone was cranky when they sat down to watch this...
I have no problem with the Mrs. Not liking these episodes or the season, but how it was handled and the “who cares” really made this video infuriating and unenjoyable to watch. Which is sad to me because I have been enjoying rewatching this show with y’all every Thursday up to this point.

Absolutely agree with this statement we all know it's the worst season but it's not like it's horrible or even bad really if this continues I'm probably unsubscribing and finding someone else who reacts to this show
Ok I’ve been holding my tongue but if you’re just gonna b and complain instead of just watching the show then don’t watch it! This is one of the best shows that has come out in the past 20yrs and all she is doing is sh on it without actually paying attention and watching

This is the worst season of the 6. By far. The plot was full of holes, the casting left much to be desired. The villans were uninteresting and flat. I don't know where they planned on taking this season but they missed the mark. They should skipped this meandering bullshit and just went straight to the plot of the last season. The show was great then the writers decided to coast and rest on their laurels. Season 6 brought back some of the lustre of the first 4, but this season almost put me off the rest of the show. The show runners were just lazy.
@@donaldstone540 TO each his own, but I thoroughly enjoyed ALL SEASONS of the show. Perhaps those with limited minds need more excitement to stay awake and focused. Most of us are not so needy. Might try some Adderall with your daily vitamins. Perhaps YOU should skip this season and go straight to the next one !!! Ever think about that ???
However, regardless of YOUR feelings, it still doesn't make up for her lousy attitude. If she wasn't enjoying the show, maybe they should've just said that, bowed out of the how and saved us the bitch sessions. They aren't watching it just for themselves, but more for the audience, and her attitude is pissing people off. Remember, this is a BUSINESS and driving your CUSTOMERS away is not conducive to that end.
Now, I'm right there with her on the pew pews, cos it IS annoying and she only mentions it at the beginning ... but putting down the show every time she gets the opportunity is off-putting, as was originally stated.

Art cares because he told Raylan "If you go after Nicky, don't bother coming back." Raylan just doesn't listen, he does whatever suits him no matter what Art says.
Raylan committed a felony crime, he would lose his badge and do serious time if convicted, Art's pissed for a good reason, he could go down too just for knowing, but can''t prove it.
He's just stuck with a problem child he cant control, always just barely saves his own ass by getting the job done in all the wrong ways.
Well, not everyone is going to feel the same way about everything. That's just a simple fact of life.
I still believe 'Justified' is one of the best Series (If not particularly believable/factual, still entertaining!) made, and lasting for 6 Seasons in this day-and-age is a good testament to its popularity. At least, IMHO.
For me the main problem with this season (other than the never ending "Ava in prison" story line) is that the main antagonists (the Florida Crowes) have absolutely no "charm" to them whatsoever. Pretty much every other main Justified villain had some sly charm you could appreciate. Darryl Jr and Danny are just a**hole thugs, albeit dangerous ones. Both of their stories end on particularly appropriate notes though.

I can see how one could start to find the formula tiresome past a certain point, but I never got tired of it. These characters are inexhaustibly fun to me, at least in Justified proper (other projects have had mixed results). When Boyd draws on Daryl and all Daryl does is gush about how cool Boyd's move was, that's pretty great.
don't give up on justified. it gets better again before it's over. at least i think so.
Raylan sees Art as a father figure, that's why he's telling the truth. He's always had a guilty conscience when he built shit. We experienced something similar back when Wynonna stole the money.

You gotta remember, nobody on the Marshal's side knows Barclay was a dirty fed. They just know he's missing.
So even if, as far as Raylan is concerned, he's just an asshole, he doesn't deserve to take the fall for getting Nicky killed.
I'd also reccomend you guys rewatch previous episodes before moving on to the next if you guys are watching these once a week. Might help with information retention that doesn't accumulate in "I don't know what's going on"/"I don't care to pay attention" and fall further behind.
Also, this season suffers from being a "set up" season. They went into season 5 having been renewed for two more seasons and announcing that the series would end after season 6. So quite a bit of screen time and story lines are there to set up the final season. Not dissimilar to the end of S3 and beginning of S4 for Battlestar Galactica.
But Elmore Leonard's (creator of Raylan Givens) unexpected passing changed things. Series developer Graham Yost didn't want to the series to go on without Leonard being its' north star.
The way the Mrs. Acts watching this show is a turn off! Sorry can't watch this with you guys anymore, and I've watched from the beginning.

A rare non-comedic role for Alan Tudyk. So rare that he was credited as "Wray Nerely" which was the name of a character he played in a series of UA-cam shorts from about 15 years ago.
"Con Man" was the name of the series.
Mrs Movies turning on this show is disheartening. My favorite show ever.
She's enjoyed it up until this season just fine. She's just not feeling this season. Doesn't mean she hates the rest of the show we've watched thus far. She's just giving it criticism. You should be able to handle that.

Lots of folks, including me, realize that it may not be the best out of all the seasons, and I'm not saying that myself, because I liked it just fine, but it's not a good look. People who come to watch the reactions are wanting to connect with you about something they love very much. Putting it down may be honest, but it's also like having YOUR spouse tell you she hates your pew, pews ... it's a turn off. We're just being honest with you, and ... and YOU should be able to handle that !!!
@@TheGreat_Kramer1 Nowhere did they ever say that he (Darrell) ALWAYS lived in the South, so there is the possibility that his accent is a blend ... of where he is, and where he's been. I've lived all over the country ... 8 states ... and have been in all but 6 so, wherever I go, I automatically adopt the local accents I hear, within the first 5 minutes or so, but that doesn't mean that's always true for everyone.
A person, say, from England, Ireland, Cuba, Iran, China, etc. who later moves to Florida, is NEVER going carry a "proper Southern accent" ... EVER ... no matter how long they live there. So why dwell on it ??? He's giving whatever he feels that accent would sound like.
The repeated "I don't care's" made me unsubscribe.
I'd like to finish the series with y'all, if the "pew pew" BS dies down and the MRS. gets back to giving a sh*t.
"Why did Raylan even come clean about it? Who cares?" tells me more about you than the character.

Agreed, there's a difference between an honest reaction and just hating/complaining about everything about the show. And the "who gives a shit" and "who cares" makes it pointless to even finish a reaction now.
Hope you guys watch breaking bad after Justified. I would also recommend The Shield(FX not Marvels) that has Walton Goggins in it or Deadwood with Timothy Olyphant. But it will be great if you guys can take up Breaking Bad for now. Thank you.

This is definitely the weakest season, but hang in there, it gets better towards the end and next season is much better. The snide comments are getting pretty old, though. I like the genuine reactions, but maybe keep the "who cares" comments to yourself, and actually pay attention enough to know the characters names.

Too bad, I didn’t have a problem with this season when it aired, but I don’t exactly disagree with her.
This has nothing to do with justified, but I wanted you to know that while I was doing some tedious clerical tasks today, I started absentmindedly singing "Here he comes! He's totally not Conan! Here he comes! He's totally not Conan!" to amuse myself.

@@martinbraun1211 as much as we’d like to. It just doesn’t seem likely unless paramount loosens their grip. I was monitoring PiBs reactions and how they were going and they just got a strike and takedown notice.
This season might be a little weaker than the other seasons but it's still good. The amount of hate on display here matches the quality of Twilight or something like that, not a season of Justified. You might wanna consider soloing these reactions because the Mrs is not enjoying the show and we're not enjoying the reactions.
Granted this isnt the strongest season and the Crowe storyline isnt the best...but she was noticably losing interest in Justified last season. And now its just open contempt....and its not *that* bad.
An honest critique and you just don't like it I understand. It has flaws for sure. But if you just don't want to watch it, don't. Anyway, none of my business at the end of the day. 🤷

I agree with Mrs. Movies. Season 5 is definitely the slowest one.
Not every song can be a number 1 hit, and not every episode can be the best ... I have absolutely no problem with ANY episode in the entire series. They are part of the whole story and needed.

This is the weakest season, unless you count City Primeval, don't even bother with that.
Season 6 is a return to form and a fitting conclusion.
Or instead, I highly recommend "Person of Interest". Probably my favourite show of all time, it has characters that are easier to care about, as well as great action and world-building.
I liked City Primeval, but you have to take into account its based on the book with the same name, not "Fire in the Hole", so the theme was going to be a little different.
People was expecting Raylan to shoot people in every episode, but he probably wouldn't survive as a lawman for that long if he still draws down on people at the pace he was in the original series.

As honest as it is, it’s mindless at this point. And that’s my honesty.
Honestly I tried watching some of their other content and he’s always into it, at least trying to get things when he’s not and she’s more often than not complaining so I can’t say I’m taken aback either.
As much as I love this show, y’all are absolutely “justified” to not care about this season. It’s the worst of the series. Rappaport stinks. The crowes stink. The love interest isn’t there. Boyd is just doing his thing. I skip through a lot of this season on a rewatch.

To be fair, this IS the worst season of Justified. I dunno how anyone would argue with that. The Crowes are the worst bad guys of the whole series -- the only bad guys with no charisma and charm. And Ava's prison storyline also stinks while Boyd's like running on a treadmill. Just saying... let em get through this rough patch a bit so we can all enjoy season 6 together.
I like her reactions, she seems to be more serious. I cant stand the joking and going on about the show like a comedy. I can understand why she would say I don't care cuz it's rotten people who gives a damb about any of them. Lord you questioned the hell out of her.

You have made me hate the word justified by overusing it. Same with phew phew. I guess I suffer from the Misophonia. It is a disorder in which certain sounds trigger emotional or physiological responses that some might perceive as unreasonable given the circumstance. certain noises really make me angry.
To those going on about her reactions to the show maybe she'd enjoy it better if all the wisecracking and dumb questions would stop.
Im having a difficult time watching these, stop with all the joking bullshit its driving me insane. Laughing at stuff that isn't funny. Damn its annoying. Im with your wife, she looks annoyed as well.
