Thank you for what you do
The k you for this BTS video!!! This helps us out a lot
Looking forward to the post processing video. Great content!!
Dude, this is good stuff, thank you! Very interesting and helpful, I'm thinking of getting into real estate photography and just starting to learn more about it.
Alex is the GOAT!
Also helpful. Thanks again.
Great video. Thanks for your walkthrough. I noticed when shooting the shot in the background you brought the ISO up to 640 from 100 instead of lowering the shutter speed. My first thought was you're introducing noise that you don't need to. So I'm curious what the thought was behind that.
A small bump in ISO won't effect the image quality but a slower shutter can give ghosting if it moves just slightly.
@@AlexSerrao Oh okay. I don't do a lot of twilights, but when I do, I use a tripod and a timer and I never get ghosting. Thanks for clearing that up.
Great content as usual, photos look great!
Thanks Luis! Appreciate you
Great content. Thanks so much. Subscribed!
any part 2 for the editing process? great vid :)
Hey Alex, great stuff! Any reason why the highest quality is 480p? Is that an issue that only I'm having?
Dang! I'm sorry about that! I had the person that filmed me edit it and I think he sent me a 480 version. I didn't catch that
Interesting video...especially like you narrating your thought process as you decide what to photograph. A lot of what you do is similar to my approach which is a nice validation. The main difference is that I still shoot brackets... it's so easy for LR to put out the HDRs, and then I can decide if I like the HDR or if one of the brackets is superior--then I edit. The other think that I was curious about was your pricing. I've heard in previous videos you explain your daytime pricing. So the question is this... do you have in mind when you price the amount of time you will spend with travel, shooting, and post-processing? In other words, do you try and target a dollars/hour result when you do your pricing?
That’s a great question. I always try to have value of time at around $100/hr. That includes drive time. I don’t charge extra for driving within my county though (it’s a big county too). I more so just try to schedule my day the best I can to have the shortest routes but nothing ever goes perfectly 🤷♂️
Really like your videos and I ordered your email campaign package. Who do you use for your outsourced editing?
I don't share my specific editor but there's tons of facebook groups for real estate photography where you can find good editors. Just join one of the groups and search in there for someone. I tried out probably a dozen people and companies before I found someone I really like and can handle the volume
Great content Alex, I subbed. Quick question. Have you ever had the problem where homes were just selling to fast in your market? I live in Hampton Roads, Va and that has been the situation here for the past couple years. RE Photographers have had to cut their rates in half just to find work because agents are just taking pics with their phones and they sell the home within a week.
Watching you put your camera on the edge of the pool was a butt pucker minor anxiety moment for sure lol.
Haha I was wondering if someone would comment something like that!
Would you say there is a high demand for real estate drone photography? Also what area are you im curious is that orlando fl? Thanks!
Big demand for aerials. I do aerials for nearly every shoot. I’m in Melbourne
Is that a Canon lens? Great work!
Yes, it is! 16-35mm
What music service do you recommend?
I use Epidemic Sound and Motion Array. Leaning more towards Epidemic recently
Misleading!!! You're showing full edited photos.
