Daisuke "Duke Fleed " is the best pilot ever , calm and wise , and Grendizer is the most unique robot , it has been built in Fleed planet not in earth , also it was the first robot anime i saw when i was 8 years old , i loved this Anime and i still love it , i bought SRW impact , MX , Z because Grendizer was in them

The Shin Mazinger is a tribute to Mazinger z. It also not follows the original manga. It has elements of Z Mazinger(Zeus, adn Big Bang Punch), Groizer X(Bomber Beast Groizer x-2), Viloence Jack(Niskiori Tsubasa),etc...
And is going to be in a upcoming SRW , and Mazinfer Z will have MAP attack.

Nagai didn't actually created Getter Robo, he just pitched the original concept, and Ken Ishikawa wrote and created it. Go Nagai was kind of his mentor and his animation was a lot like his at first.
Still, Getter Robo HAS crossed over with Mazinger series folks before, so it counts as the same universe :).
