I use a mod called junio sonic and the model isnt 3d (other mods like modern sonic,etc we’re working tho)

the entries dont appear in the addons folder i can only play as the main 3 (sonic,talis,knuckles) at least their models work...

If it helps, you have to use the No save file to actually play as other characters that aren’t the main 3, discounting unlockable characters included with the main game

I will say again that I recommend getting models from the Message Board. The ones you see sometimes at UA-cam could be unnoficial ports and edits which violates a rule from SRB2 MB. Check the link in the description for the download goes to the Message Board. If it doesn't it could be a edit/port. Although if they have the reusable thing that may be ok but still keep in look but if they don't you're breaking the rules.

so i have one problem, the models work for all in-game characters (like sonic, tails, knux, and etc) but on addon characters they won't work somewhy. let's take shadow as an example : so i replaced old shadow.md4, shadow.png and shadow_blend with the new ones but it's still the old 2D sprite and not the 3D model, can you help me somehow? i know this video is really old so you may not see this or may not care to answer but please i need help

It doesn't work for mods. Only works for normal characters.

@@feebos9312 Well the thread is updated so if you want the file you need to click in download. After that just do exactly that I do in the video. Extract the zip with the contents and then put them inside your model folder. Although replace the models.dat file you have with the one you downloaded. After that just do exactly what the video does
