They lied it was them plus the brothers said they think it was a Mafia Hit. Have they connections 😮 this case has always confused me so why did they go to separate prisons then there family were no help they failed them they could have rang Child Protection services and the police but they did nothing. I'm a Victim of Abuse but my family helped me first it was my uncle who was in the Police he just knew something was wrong then the other family members intervened my abusebleft me with a Disability
The brother’s family didn’t really understand the depth of the abuse. Some knew something was wrong, and tried to say something, but nothing came of it. The parents told everyone to mind their business essentially. I’m a victim of childhood abuse and domestic violence, I don’t know why my teachers, counselors, therapists, and other mandated reporters didn’t call cps on my behalf. Not everyone grows up thinking that’s an option. Not everyone knows to do that. I had to make a decision between calling cps, and probably not getting help at all or going into foster care. You feel you betray your parents if you “tell on them”. Weighing your options, with a 14 or 15 y/o brain, that was abused, you don’t make rational choices.
Jose would have kept Lyle and Erik from seeing the family if they would have tried to do anything to stop him from how he was treating his sons and they didn’t know about the sexual abuse at the time
