I put S&S roller rockers in my 131...very noisy. Torn down(3k miles), I found 3-4 thou difference both front and rear. I thought my valves were the problem, but then fitted the rockers to a brand new set of heads...same lash. Now have the Harley adjustables...much quieter. I used Feuling rocker shaft shims, and solid push rods as well. It's about as quiet as an M8 can be:)
I heard you say fueling cam plate but when I watched you take the cam cover off it had a blue plate inside. Last time I checked that was S&S that was blue at least mine is.
Ive run them in my 124ci build and the new 129ci build. Definitely quiten everything down both builds. First ones did eat a a pushrod end on front intake. Looked like the machined cup on the rocker wasn't milled 100% perfectly so still my fault for not checking that. Which i do everytime its apart now. Fueling shims get warped and fatigued very quickly especially the thinner ones. Didn't really quiten it down as much as the rockers either. FWIW
Hi Bill, great video. Is there ever a need to shim the rockers as Feuling recommends with their shims to lessen the clack/tick noise from the side thrust?
You commented on MotoGP. If you haven't attended one, treat yourself and be at turn one for the start. It is stunning.
Something smokin at the rear of the bike after those pulls lol
Didn't know about those adjustable roller rockers from the MoCo, good info there👍

Great job. I think videos like this will bring light to the subject. I found most dealers didn’t know the adjustables exist. Thanks for the comment.
