@@SamMasonRallySportwow! Gear shifts weren’t great, but I understand. Is there anything else that has been done to it because I want to do those mods it sounds beautiful!!!!! ❤
Haha no I agree. I was going for a quick run in this one so double-clutching would have been smoother but I wasn’t after smooth I was after fast and that’s not fast😂 the reason was is that Shelsley Walsh is such a steep hillclimb and the car is so slow I need to keep as much momentum as possible so I just went for a quick shift. There really isn’t that much modification done to it, the Webber carbs are the most significant. It has an aftermarket exhaust so does sound good but I don’t know the brand. Sorry
Very satisfying to watch! Regards from France.
Clément
Merci!
My goodness transmissions have come a long way😂
Downshifts into second gear sound horrendous. Brings back memories of my ‘68 GT6 not long before I replaced the transmission.
That was my fault, terrible downshift! Not normally like that but my shoes an peddle placement mean I find it hard to heel and toe fast in that car!
Enjoyed that, Thank you.
As a TR 250 owner, I always like that model Triumph
Brilliant !
Sometimes at high speed you can get rear end drift with the GT6 beautiful looking car though especially the MK3.
Blimey you could get an ocean liner in between those gear ratios😂
Haha, so true!
🛳🛳 make that 2 😭
😂
Nice driving !!!
Needs a close ratio box….😊
Is in running rotaflex drive shafts?
epic better front end shocks sway bar
Is that a different engine or a tuned one? If so how can I do it to my ‘72 gt6?
It is largely standard but it is running triple webber carbs. Still only 100bhp though!

@@SamMasonRallySport no you’re good! Do you know how much it would cost to get triple Webber carbs fitted to my car?
@MemesAndVehiclesYT I don’t sorry, it had them fitted when we bought it
Is it stock, or did you add any performance parts to it for the event?
It is not standard, it had been modified to do road rallying. It has had some minor work done engine wise but still only around 100bhp!
Do you mind sharing what you have done/replaced/upgraded when you get a sec?
Where did this guy learn to drive , poor clutch and gearbox
Poor gearbox ….what a bad driver
