Great review. I saw a lot of videos just say that it ist great and the best game of the year. I love it that your are giving a more detailed review. I though that SETI is bad for 2 so i didn't buy it. People Have said that you either have to play it with a broken bot or that the scanning part is so bad that the person who is going for it will loose. So that is wrong? Also i noticed that you are doing less parts in the reviews now. I liked the longer ones better.
Personally I've found that this is only a problem if you feel that the area majority should be really important. I didn't think it was a big thing as the game is fun enough anyway. The area majority even in 4 player isn't as massive a thing as people make it out to be. It's just a fun game and I dont her to overthink it's minor faults.
Aren't all the (Euro) games in the world action selection games? The different is how you choose your actions... place a worker, draft a die, etc.. or simply pick one of the X available actions.
@@nirszi no, no you don't. In Catan you roll dice, get rewards, trade with people, then purchase items with your resources. I'm also about to play a game of moonrakers, and there's no action selection in that either. I get what you're saying about selecting an action being to unspecific a term about selecting verbs through different means. But those means are what makes it really interesting. But the term action selection is usually relegated games in which you're picking from a list of specific actions. So most deck builders wouldn't fall into that category.
Contact is one of my favorite movies . And i felt in love with ilustrations on first sight. I read a lot of 2players reviews and in the end decided to buy it.
@@elqord.1118 i have played Gallerist and Lisboa in 2 player. I am used to games that have different dynamics in 2. And it can be solved by house rule.
Love the upgrades to the editing!
Watched your top games of November and then saw that this was just posted! Cant wait to watch the rest
Such a missed opportunity that they didn't put an LED inside the translucent sun demisphere.
You can literally buy 50 of these for 3 bucks :D No clue i ever use them all cause the last for 2-3 games
Very positive comments as I have pre-ordered this game.and am really looking forward to playing it.

@nirszi No. Def not. As an example, Most trick taking games aren't. Drafting games often aren't. Most card games aren't.
@@eliumeldritch I should have said, "Euro games". Edited.
@@nirszi there's still a ton that aren't. Catan for example...
@@eliumeldritch You don't select actions in Catan?

Interesting because it’s really not super good with two
@elqord.1118 I played Lisboa and Gallerist in 2, i am prepared for different playstyle in lower player number.

No 1 game of the year?
