Yes a great film and a wonderful film score which seemed to epitomise the vastness of the landscape! Stanley Baker was a fantastic actor taken from us far too soon !
My favourite is Colour Sergeant Bourne played by Nigel Greens. My favourite line is the following - Soldier - "But why us" Bourne - "Because we're 'ere lad and nobody else!"
One of the greatest films I have ever seen. Most of it was the truth. A few discrepancies, but mostly the truth. Coulor sergeant Bourne was five feet five inches tall. (Please refer to his memoirs) Nigel Green was six feet six inches tall. But Nigel Green epitomised the resilience of the British Soldier in wartime. It was an absolute travesty that Coulor sergeant Bourne did not receive the VC.
For me one of the best British films ever. 👏God bless all the cast passed and alive.🙏
one of the best films ever

They're not mocking you. They are saluting you. Fellow braves

Nigel Green favourite character in Zulu
Can't even get R E in the right order. How hard can it be to mess up two letters. 😂😂

Colour Sgt Bourne is the best character
In reality he was the youngest Colour Sgt in the British Army
'Aways weddy to face the chawenges of war'. Etcetewa 😂😂😂

why no mention of chief Bhutalesie ? the other main protagonist
Nigel Green comitted suicide not a heart attack
Didn't know...
So sad
Thinking now of Patrick Whymark
This has to be the worst narration if any video on UA-cam ever!
now who's colour sergeant windridge
So many of the actors died quite young, didn’t they?
Stanley baker died 50 years ago
One of greatest films ever ruined with this rubbish commentary
Maxfield becomes Maxwell within the same sentence. This gets worse as it goes along.
He died 48 years ago so why say this is him 60 years later
Clickbait
What is the point of this ? just showing great people who passed away or are elderly now .
Missed a load out
Wow people get old and die of old age. If they are lucky.
Great film, but the narration is terrible, computerized, crap
Boring AI commentary 😴
Monotonous and wepetitive doesn't even begin to descwibe it. 😂😂😂
