Denis David The reason you stuck at 450 is probably because you have a newer version of gran turismo 6. I had the same problem when i updated the game. I was managed to achieve 530 kmh in the version 1.00
@@gta4crashesmods212 I achieved 450 kmh with Viper Launch Edition '13, full upgrade in all horsepower upgrade and weight reduction, Race hard tire to avoid spin out when turning at high speed. Don't have any upgrade that can customize. I am quite surprised to see Viper just waltz through WHOLE traffic, especially there's the infamous Escudo Pikes Peak in there, too. Tho version is 1.00 as well.
@@TemmoieX2011 Prototype for me. It even can hit 555kph but it has very sensitive handling. So i had to swap to SRT TOMAHAWK S instead since it has 748PP (2 below 750PP limit).
For me these races are too short in terms of laps, plus the SS Routes aren’t too interesting with just a 1 lap race! In my opinion these races should be longer like maybe 15 laps for Indy, replace SS Route 7 with Circuit de la Sarthe with a 4 laps sprint, and have 3 laps on SS Route X. The reason why I think la Sarthe should replace SS Route 7 is ‘cause it’s a real race circuit with the long Mulsanne and Indianapolis straights, which make for some great high-speed action! Then you’ve got a proper race going!
That's not Like the Wind at all. Like the Wind is meant for very long high speed circuits with no less than two corners and a straight of over 1 mile. Like the Wind is where you push your car to the limit on very long straights with high speed corners. If you want a course with a straight of less than 1 mile but with a high speed corner, go for Daytona instead.
Yeah, probable be better to just have a 5 lap enduro round Route X. I was only saying la Sarthe should be there because I really wanted to see the pikes peak cars get stuck in with the prototypes and have a good long race battle. It would have worked if they'd done up a 700pp race car championship for this game, including the ESCUDO and the SX4 together with all the prototypes and the two high powered GT cars, the Mercedes CLK LM and the Nissan R390 GT1. That would have been epic!
The Minolta wasn’t that great in real life because they could never fix the problems that the car had with the engine and everything, the sauber c9 I doubt it....
I wish this event had more supercars in it. I think they should've added these supercars in this event: Ford GT '05 Ford GT '06 Ford GT Concept '02 Viper GTS '13 Saleen S7 '02 One-77 '11 Reventon '08 Huayra '11

Use a NASCAR and tune it to 1300 HP. Then, equip a power limiter and adjust it so that is has a 750 PP maximum. Afterwards, adjust the gearbox to give it a maximum high speed. If the 2J tries to pull away, get close by drafting him and use the slipstream to slingshot and pull away as far as you can, leaving the 2J in the dust like you're in the Fujiwara Zone.

The Zonda R with maxed out upgrades or LM55 can be recommended cars in Like the Wind since they can reach 460kph+ top speeds.
I used a fully upgraded huayra. But man, J. Besson is hard to beat in the first race
I think these races are all easy. (I used fully modified nissan gtr nismo)

'00 TVR cerbera speed 12 is perfectly suitable for the last 2 races. It can do 530 km/h if you tune the transmission.
