you probably haven’t used the watch so don’t know what you want, the default app is fine to start with, this video is actually very helpful to show you what other apps are available that solve particular problems that you might need in the future
Wondering if anyone in the coments know: is there any app in which I can pre program my intervals? I've only found this feature on pre-made training plans from apps like Adidas. Changing my timer in every interval isn't very practical.
Ok so what i'm searching for is a way to keep track of my quarter mile splits. Is this what you are referring to? If so, have you found a solution yet?
@@bbtrainerfish7124 exactly. There is a way to program splits before your run, you can insert intervals and plan splits beforehand, which is nice. But what if one is running and spontaneuosly decides to do a 500 meter split for example, there is no way to do this it has to be entered and planned beforehand. With my tomtom watch i just tap the display and it starts a segment for me, and then tap to end. The problem is from 30.09.2023 that tomtom is no longer supporting their running app and website and therefore the watch is now useless!

You can do this on the workout app by going no to outdoor run > custom workout
He speaks so quickly I can’t follow. What is the app at the beginning of the video that shows distance, speed, time? That’s what I’m trying to do.

Great video. Do any of those apps or anywhere on the Ultra watch keep your personal records? Such as 1 mile, 5k, 10k, and half marahon?
The native apple fitness app does that and gives you an award on a new record.

Why can one not do manual interval splits on the iwatch! Probably the most used function on runner watches
