who told you that's a drain? I have seen open sewage in bangalore, but this is not india. That's NOT a drain. all drainage are underground with pipe and goes to waste management directly. this is a small river. there are these types of small rivers in shanghai too. Just not in the usual touristy areas, but still central shanghai. Don't use your existing knowledge incorrectly to assume what you see.
Those aren't sewers or anything they were Canals, you will find them a lot in china, just like how you See in Doraemon or shinchan 🗿🗿 bhai kuch bhi bol rha hai at this point

Don’t get me wrong. Did the vlogger say Wuhan is a small city? 😂😂 For us Chinese people Wuhan is a big and very important city.

Vishnu, a correction here - The city is pronounced as ChongChing. The alphabet Q is pronounced as Ch. Also, avoid buying food onboard. It's expensive. Rather buy them from the station and you will get them at lower prices. Furthermore, that wasn't a sewer! It was a canal/river!!!
Feels like the investment on infrastructure has resulted in better lives/experience for the locals and tourists. Everything looks so clean.

Wuhan is an important transportation hub in China, located in central China, it is a very large and very important city. What you see in Wuhan is not sewers, but rivers, you will not see garbage, and you will not smell bad smells. All city sewers are buried underground.

That's not sewer Bishnu, that's more like canal or small stream. China ban open sewer decades ago and you can clearly see the water colour is not black and there's no trash in the stream. Research before passing any information to your viewers.
Politics aside, China's infrastructure development is very impressive. From only 3 km of bullet train track in 2006 to thousands of kms of bullet train track in 2023 and still growing. Society itslef plays a lot of difference. If somebody creates mess, the people around it would gladly clean it up for you. Here people would Spit their paan here and there and wouldn't even care.
The best way to understand is to be there in person. Glad that Indian Vlogger travel to China and share their real experience
