P.S. The videos of me using frozen fruit are me experimenting. Technically speaking you aren't supposed to use frozen fruits in the J2. 🤷🏾♀️ While I've never had a single problem, I am just putting that disclaimer out there.
There's different kinds of smoothies, and I think some folks get confused by all the different kinds. 1) Frozen smoothies [either using ice or using frozen fruit], probably not the right machine for those. 2) Fruit/veggie 'puree' smoothie [with the whole fruit, all pulp, etc.]? Blender is probably better for that. 3) Juice smoothies [think Odwalla, Naked, Bolthouse Farms, etc.]? I think these are what the J2 is probably aiming for. A thick, slightly pulpy, 'juice' smoothie, that's slightly short of what you'd get from a blender smoothie, but more than what you'd get from just a pure filtered 'juice'.
Would like it if someone would do a direct comparison between the J2 using the regular "juice" filter and the "smoothie" filter on the same things [non-frozen]. Like do they both come out as just "juice," or does the smoothie filter actually come out as slightly thicker pulpier juice [and, how significant is the difference], more like an "Odwalla"/"Naked"/"Bolthouse" juice smoothie?
I think Nama juice extractor is not good for smoothies. Vitamix is the high power blender and it’s best for smoothies. Or even Nutribullet is good for smoothies.I cannot remember how much I paid for my Vitamix.maybe over $600 something but Nurtibullet is around $179. I think and it does a good job. Don’t waste your fruits by using Nama. Hope you don’t mind me saying these things. Sorry. Enjoy your juices though. 🇨🇦🍁💕
I don't mind you saying anything lol 🤣. I personally don't think I wasted my fruit when I tried this. There was no "pulp" when I made my smoothie, it got all my ingredients. So nothing wasted in my opinion. BUT I don't use the Nama for smoothies. I just tried for video sake since it comes with a smoothie strainer. Lots of people had questions about it since they didn't advertise that. But I did say I recommend using your blender if you have one because the clean up process to me is not worth it.
Did you just oxide in that blender?! Lol! I have a Vitamin, but I’m gonna use my Nama for EVERYTHING after watching these videos. I appreciate you. Stay Bubbly! 🤗♥️
🤣🤣 I really wanted a Vitamix, but decided on this one due to price lol. Yeah honestly, this Nama is amazing!! 😍 Thanks a bunch and I will always stay bubbly
I know I did the samething. What's up with the Nama this is a $500 + blender. Then they said that attachment makes smoothies. They lied. I'm with you I will use my Ninja when making a smoothie. So disappointed 😢
I don’t see a point if you also now need to blend. I’ll stick to my Vitamix for smoothies and juice in my Nama J2. The smoothie strainer really is just fkr juice with more pulp in my opinion. I’m thinking they should not have called it a smoothie strainer basket.
Yeah that's what I said. It's just isn't worth the hassle. Now I will say, in a other video I made- the nama makes a great sorbet 😍 So I use it that way sometimes. But yeah I usually stick to my regular blender.
Interesting perspective! Sorry you feel that way, but I guess that's your POV 🤷🏾♀️😌. I personally do not believe they are useless. Yes there is the lack of fiber, but there is not a lack of nutrients. In fact, the nutrients enter your system much quicker when you juice, which is really good for people who are wanting weight loss or even those who are sick. Also. If someone likes drinking juice (like me), then a juicer would be the way to go! There are plenty of useless things in this world, but I do not think juicers are one of them. Not to mention this video was about me making a Smoothie, which was a success, so the Nama is full of use 😁
You don't know what you're talking about and obviously don't have a clue about soluble versus insoluble, useless troll. Try reading a book. Furthermore, they give you a screen with larger holes if you want more fiber for a "smoothie" which is what she was using.
Question? The centrifugal juicers oxidized the fruits and vegetables. The masticating juicers still keeps some of the fiber. If you need the fiber couldn’t you just eat the pulp that comes out? If you hate juicers what do you use? Do you just eat the fruit and vegetables? Your comment does not make sense! Have you ever used a good juicer like the Nama J2?
then why are you wasting your time on useless shit like watching a video of a juicer. you can't stand?? and then offering your unsolicited opinion. just to hear yourself talk. all you have to do is add back the fiber into the smoothie if that's what you want..easy peasy
Cold pressed juicers removed most of the insoluble fiber but the soluble fiber is still in the juice. Juice allows for easier absorbing of the minerals and nutrients without being taxing on the digestive system. It’s definitely not useless for me at least. I use my vitamins as well as my juicer.

Thanks for the video.i have the namaj2 juicer which comes with a smoothie strainer.we learn everyday thanks for the video.

Oh yeah, a quiet smoothie! I’m going to buy it!
This is what my vitamix is for. The smoothie strainer never made it out my j2 box.
Looks like a blender would work better for fruit smoothies. I like the Nama J2 for juicing veggies.
Love the jars with lid! Can you tell me where?
I got those Mason Jars from Kroger 😁

I mean yeah....it's a juicer, not a blender. Of course it doesn't make smoothies like a Vitamix.
Thank you because I was trying to figure out what to do with my nutribullet.
Glad I saw your video. I opted for my Nutra Bullet for my smoothie this time.

I use my Vitamix for smoothies (there the best), & my nama J2 to juice. I'll try this though. Btw: Nama & Vitamix are expensive. Lol
@@MoDavI-sl7iy worth the money
Did you use the large hole screen for this demo? Thx
I am still so confused about this smoothie attachment.

It comes with a smoothie strainer
Eh Smoothie Wise, I Think I'll Stick With The Blender. 🍓🥑🥤

@@CuzItsVegan Which Is Why I'd Rather Use The Nama J2 For Juices And Nut Milks. 🍓🥤🌰🥛
Idk you can put frozen fruit in this juicer.
3:28 It Looks Like Fruit By Foot Came Out Of There.
OMG! I didn't even think about that til you just said it!! So true! 🤣🤣
@@CuzItsVegan It Just Comes Natural To Me. 😏✨
Haha!! I appreciate your naturalness 😎😎
@@CuzItsVegan Thanks! 😎

I tried to just eggs they are good but making it precious better can you do a video making it fresh and trying to premade just eggs
Ooops Didn’t mean to say precious
@@karenkozdra2546 I am so sorry I'm just now seeing this. UA-cam is weird about letting me know about comments. I surely will!!
J2 does NOT have a SMOOTHIE screen, that is a FRUIT screen that is why fiber still comes out
Mine can with a smoothie screen I received yeaterday
Mine came with a smoothie basket
Vitamix is good for smoothies but not the Nama
Yup, I love my Vitamix.
Nama has a smoothie insert tho
Juicers rip all the fiber out. Can't stand juicers. Useless.
