In Tam episode, Leonard was eating his lunch and Sheldon told him to take Tam and son to airport. It didn't matter Leonard was eating his lunch. Leonard will do what ever Sheldon says. Again spineless.

Leonard's mother was a monster who treated Leonard just like a Science experiment and was an insufferable Narcissist who constantly made Leonard feel bad about himself. Sheldon in most regards mirrors her behaviour & traits. Therefore to put it in perspective, Leonard was essentially living with his Mother (in the form of Sheldon).
