Thank you for that outro. I do try to brew a lot of my own decks and I do find that I constantly come up against net decks. This does get extremely frustrating and I do get disenchanted by the win rate, so to hear you say hang in there means a lot. Don't get me wrong I do love net decking your decks and a few other streamers to help me become a more rounded player. Before I discovered you I was a mono black/rakdos/golgari mid-range/aggro player but after trying a few of your decks I'm getting better at control and have found a love for blue cards that I never thought I'd have. So a massive thank you for putting in the effort you do, it is incredibly helpful to plebs like me.

I’ve been loving Zariel in a Boros Aggro deck I’ve been tuning up (Angelfire Ignition, Skalds, Venerable Warsinger). She is one of the most underrated walkers!

I have the answer to the Inferno question. The matchmaker does that. It's in the algorithm to go find things that trip up your deck that you would never ever ever see if it were entirely random.
I love the Skyclave Shade for some reason... just always had a spot in my heart. It's dope to watch CGB run it out!

I think I really needed that rant at the end. I love homebrewing control decks, and I do start to really hate the game in the final few weeks of the format. I get so discouraged because I feel like if I'm not playing aggro (which I don't like doing) or playing the best decks in the format, then there's just no point - I'm just setting myself up to lose. Which feels bad. I still really haven't found the answer. I sometimes try moving into Historic or B03 when that happens. Historic is just ridiculous though and often I just don't have time to play long drawn-out control BO3 games.
As others have said though, we are appreciating the rants.
PS: Your face when they played the Dragon's Fire and randomly had the 6/6 Dragon!

Love this deck :) Personally I would never cut Showdown cause it makes the Charger so much better. Thanks for the list, gave me some ideas. Also I feel like netdecking helps you in your own brews as well, since it gives you more options to tune your own deck by looking at similar decks of other players. Eventually you will always tune your deck to a specific meta, that is just how Standard works. Kinda appreciate the late season brewing for that reason :)

You had me at extus. I`ve tinkered with this card multiple times (especially before rotation) and it`s very good. If you can create some fodder for sac early on then it`s tough to beat.

The best advice ever, net decking is not bad - it’s not good ether. It is part of the game. Play those, learn those, then brew a way to stop them dead.
What makes the best so good is not the deck but how they play it. They know every combo, every most likely play and adjust their play around it. Just watching CGB “I can’t imagine they don’t play x card if I do this” or “because they didn’t do that last turn they are holding for x on the next turn” that is from the experience gained by knowing all the decks out there.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with an orzov extus list which runs: eaten alive, rites of oblivion, deadly dispute (because the magecraft ability returns the card you sacrifice with the spell) alongside morbid opportunist and other sacrifice pay offs and cards which are good to sacrifice or have good replay value, like the black adversary and shambling ghast.
+1 here for Extus orzhov shenanigans. Very strong in different versions. I run discard creatures and spellbinders and such too and some duress. I'm 12-2 so far.
This seems really cool could you both share deck lists. Love the sacrifice archetype and have been struggling to make it work on ladder with consistently. Last season this got me to Diamond but needed to switch to something else after that. I like it because many opponents don’t know how to play against it.

This is my current version at 13-2. Altough, it is not just click and conquer. Got to know when to use what mode and so on. When to save things and not overextend. Wich side of Redaine or Extus to use (backside of extus is possible trough treasure if needed, but its the fron of Extus I use the most.)But, with that said it is a very durable deck that can turn games around at very low life when your opponent are low on resources.

Then 3 of: lunarch veteran, novice occultist, tainted adversary and dramatic finale (which is my personal choice for a fun finisher card)
I’m quite sure the concept is solid, but there’s a lot of really great cards so your build might look different, for example neat hook massacre is really good (death trigger and can sacrifice it to rite of oblivion) and vanishing verse is probably important to include. If you build it lemme know how it goes.

Hopefully this comment can get in before it gets buried (especially considering your apt feelings on negativity in UA-cam comments from the last video) but you should put a single-band compressor on your audio for vocals in whatever video editing software you're using. Not a huge issue but if you're using a de-esser or de-hummer it's making a tin-y buzz on your voice. Also love seeing a mob sacrifice deck, happy to see Zariel and meathook, have a deck with a similar build as well as a Golgari Scute swarm meathook deck. Keep on keeping on dude! You're cool.

White deck could have powered up the (tapped) Haven to sacrifice it to the Avatar at 14:22. Not sure it would've mattered in the end, but I think it would've left them in a better state.
Would Sedgemoor Witch fit into a deck like this reasonably? The idea of replacing sac dorks seems good.
While I know it is unlikely anyone will read or respond to this, but is it at all possible to have time stamps for when the games start? I really like watching the games first then going into deck tech and having something I could click would be amazing.
