Well that looks like a fun cook Bill. We have a lot of corned brisket but for Rubens. Matter of fact that is my plan for this Sunday but I also have one in the freezer that I will build up like you did. Thank you for sharing another excellent meal with us all. Your up north friend Terry.
Wow Yes! Love Rubens! I am just putting the finishing touches on the brining video to upload later today. I would be interested to know if my method is anywhere close to yours? Always great to hear from you Terry!
_20 C here this morning in Newfoundland, Canada. Spring won't see this place for at least a month & then it will be up and down like a roller coaster. We call that feed jigs dinner or a scoff. It is a staple in my family. One more thing. that knife you showed there is just like one I made from a piece of moose antler.
Hey there Reginald, Whadda ya at? And baby that’s cold outside! Where in Newfoundland do you live? I once delivered a boat I sold to a client up there. We ran the boat, a 43’ Silverton Motor Yacht, from here in Virginia Beach all the way to Petty Harbor just below St. John’s. ‘Love Newfoundland! I love antler handle knives too! Always great hearing from you my friend!
Ha! Looks like it right Donna! Actually the hardest part of the whole thing is pealing & cutting up the rutabagas. Thanks for watching. Have a blessed day!
