For FGs and since you mentioned it, how about Duels of Fortune? Or Exploding Judo Federation for an FG that is currently only on itch. For non FG stuff on Itch, I haven't done much digging there, but a friend of mine has a free RPG on Itch called Destiny of Dionysus that I enjoyed (and it has a sequel called Destiny of Mithra).
@@BaronWarthog Shit, maybe I kinda jumped the gun on making such a declaritive statement in this video on Indie Fighters. An "Indie Fighters Of Itch.Io" group video sounds like a good idea now; Duels, Exploding Judo Federation, a few others. And yeah I'll look at those RPGs.
As FGs on itch go, Heatwave, Duels of Fortune, Exploding Judo Federation, Gamma Surge, Input Chaos, Fight.Exe, and Etehfowr Against come to mind, seeing how you already included Beatdown Dungeon (and its sequel) :D technically Schwarzerblitz is on itch too, but not at its most updated.
@@GohLowyou also can't forget about Hyper Hitboxing which was the previous game of Arcus Chroma Battle High 2A+ which was the previous game from the Merfight dev Head 2 Head which is roguelite style fighting game with upgrades and power ups And Shuzen which while a two character demo, it's super stylish and fun
Do please male a video on fighters on Itch, because the other people who have already made those videos don't know what a fighting game is, and like 8 of their entries on their top 10 are not applicable
I really want to play skateride, the last survey, and metanet hunter! I wish I had a handheld pc, I feel like these are perfect games to play in bed. The last survey especially intrigues me, I feel like there is a lot of potential for surprising story paths in there, I wonder how much they explored that
Yeah it's a game I'm definitely gonna go back to. If I were to give one criticism, it's that the limited amount of choices make replays feel a bit dead at times.
@@GohLow I’m not planning to get into game dev but if I was, every now and then I have vague ideas for games about unionising a workplace. The last survey is obviously not that but sounds closer than a lot of games
What Indie Games should I check out next?

@@frumiousgaming That'd be an amazing idea for a visual essay game!
