I feel like if Markelle Fultz didn't get injured, their team would be intact. He was having a career year, and Vuc was having a MONSTER season. Cole Anthony is shaping up to be a solid 2nd PG. Aaron Gordon might have stayed.
I’m glad he’ll get more recognition, but after watching his interview, I wish he stayed even more. A star player who legit loved the city and didn’t wanna leave (even when the team was trash)? I’m not sure how often we find that
@@fortyforfree personally I’m happy with all the pieces we got. Wish we kept Vooch bc it’s obvious he wanted to stay and I would’ve loved to see him play in his prime with a health JI and Markelle. Our 2021 Orlando team was lookin fun af to watch before all those damn injuries forced a full rebuild (and we didn’t even have JI back yet)

I’m a bulls fan aswell and I watch basically every game. Lauri Ain’t it. Not saying he’s bad but he’s just not a Bull. Been saying this for a while now.

I feel like his consistency can be due to the stress the of Unkonw of this season also he is trying his hardest to figure out the pg position. Lauri definitely ain’t it and us getting vooch seals it. If his shots not falling he’s a liability on the floor next to vooch as their defense isn’t good. I have high hopes for the team going into the off season

Even tho he had more points than Capela, he cannot read the damn pnr, that why they get all the alley oops the hawks want. vucevic got more points because of three pointers and mismatches, clints points were all against him
I still think they need an upgrade at the PG. If they could their hands on Lonzo this offseason, so Lavine and Vucevic can focus on scoring while he facilitates. Plus he's defensive ability would pair nicely next to Zach.

I could see Derozan assisting to Vuc the most this season...especially since they played together in College
You could argue that the past three seasons Vucevic is better than KAT. He leads his team into the Playoffs, while although not being a serious contender or dark horse, he still lead a winning team unlike Towns. They both average similar stats, but I’d give the edge to Vucevic cause his stats actually impacted Orlando’s W/L record.

But the rest of the roster only have 2 modes so far,either stand around watching,or trying to play hero ball.the other 13 guys need to learn how to put clamps on the Opposition,and take their shots when vooch and Zach give it to them. All of that is up to the coach.

Vucevic has such a quick release from behind the 3 point line. Unusual for a big man
Ikr. He and KAT are exceptional
The combo of Vucevic and Lauri Markennen played some of the worst pick and roll defense I’ve ever seen in an NBA game against the Hawks. An absolutely unteneable defensive situation in the front court.
On the point of defense, I seriously don't think Vucevic is that much of a worse option than what we had with WCJ he looked just as lost defending the PnR and would get bodied by anyone regardless of size. Vooch at least looks solid guarding the post and uses his height and body defending the paint. WCJ is the better defender, but I don't think what we lost makes up for what we gained. Vucevic on the offensive end is pretty consistent and a great second guy for Lavine now we're just missing that 3rd guy that consistently drops 15 OR is a good enough playmaker to set up others for easy buckets. Coby could be that guy but rn he's super streaky and like you mentioned the defense is a major weakness for the bulls atm and he most definitely doesn't help in that department. The same goes for Lauri and I think he's even less likely to be that as he's super limited. His offensive game is so predictable and hasn't improved at all in 4 years playing along with still being a bad defender.
Defensively Willaims could develop nicely and while he's been trying hard defending stars and such, he's still not there yet to be that defensive stopper. Until then I think we need a PG and winger that can boost our help defense. Because I think that's Lavine's biggest weakness in his game. He tries on defense now and is ok on the ball, but off-ball his defensive IQ really gets exposed. So some defensive help would really boost the team overall. Idk the bulls' staff, but maybe another defensive-minded assistant could help the team in the off-season? I also think the bulls just don't talk enough defensively so a big voice kind of like what Draymond is to the warriors would certainly help. Communication is key and can really help bad defenders look competent.

Bulls defense has been horrendous for years. Makes you really miss the days of Luol Deng and Joakim Noah. I have faith in AK to find good defenders tho, that’s when we’ll actually see some good results.

Remember when we all thought Lauri was Dirk 2.0? It’s too early to tell. A guy picked fourth who struggles to score on a consistent basis shouldn’t be getting these comparisons yet. We are setting the expectations too high for Pwill
Yeah, Vooch struggles in the PnR. That’s why Coach has been pulling Vooch late in the game in favor of Theiss on defense. The Bulls have been terrible defending the Pick and Roll going all the way back to Carlos Boozer and Pau Gasol. Obviously, it’s very hard to defend against, which is why it’s a staple of NBA offense.
It was a good trade in a bad timing...trading your current players when you are desparate for a playoff spot will not work easy, look waht the Knicks did they choose chemistry rather than pulling the trigger for a trade. They should have just played it off this season then trade in the offseason.
I think vulcvic was a very good aggressive trade but I think it going toward next year they need a point good and another allstar maybe they make the playoffs this year maybe not they got to much ground to make up and they really don't have no practice time to really gel

The Bulls issue aren't on the offensive end, they can score against anyone, it's the defense that is holding them back, Zach and Vuc are never going to be good defenders, so management needs to surround them with defensive studs
