Ty for this. I had started a soulfist alt a while back and through tier 1 she was fun to play. But at the end of tier 2 I find her more and more difficult to play compared to other alt classes.
@@xavier9556 just an update. Beginning of tier 2 she was not fun for me but after the last patch she is noticeably better. I also evaluated my skills, learn to play her more mobile, and swapping back to EO. I’m at the end of tier 2 with her and she is a lot more fun then I gave her credit for. I’m sure once she hits 1370 and the gearing options are much better she will be a blast to play.
To be honest this class was my first one to start but it was so bad at the beginning. I am kind da giving up and go to demashi ~ After seeing this, it gave me some hope to build it up rather than leaving her alone in the conner of character selection. Thanks for a good interview

ATK thanks for the vid. I’m re-watching it again here and I can’t help but comment on your usage of the word “piano-ing”. You use it in a few of your other videos as well. It doesn’t mean spammy or fast skill usage like I believe you’re usage is intending. Instead people use “piano-ing” to refer to spamming skills without any sense of rotation - basically you just use whatever is off of cool-down first without a care. Soulfist is definitely spammy, but still has a sense of priority and rotation.

Great video, i'm just confused as to why keen blunt is used. If i do the maths, with crit necklace you get around 18% crit rate, 15% with adrenaline, and let's say 7% with lostwind cliff, cause we don't have light of salvation 18 awakening yet. That's 40% crit, you need 60% to have keen blunt viable. None of the dps skills have crit tripod, so why keen blunt ? With hallucination ok i get it, but with dominion you get 0 crit, and eventually you'll lose the 7% crit from cards as you switch to LoS. So i don't understand KBW instead of Cursed Doll for example.
party synergies stack (even from gender opposing classes). 70% percent of the classes in the game have some form of crit resistance down (basically flat crit) and crit chance debuff in their kit that is stacks with other classes. It is why LWC is a minimal loss once you switch to LoS because the sources of crit dramatically increases in coordinated party play

I looooove my EO Soulfist. It's so much fun, fast and rewarding. You're always zooming around and attacking wherever you are.. But also, it requires a lot of focus and attention. So it can be exhausting :D The best part about Soulfist for me: It never gets boring. There are classes with very easy rotations and not a lot of things that can go wrong, with minimal effort you can use the full potential (like sorc for example). But with EO Soulfist every little thing you do pushes you further. That makes it so rewarding and I always look forward to playing her.
sorc doesn’t need minimal effort though it’s a hard class cause of 0 mobility while need to know boss mechanics to avoid missing skills due to long animations soulfist on the other side and others can just stick to boss and dish out dmg soulfist will fly in dps btw with full relic set will be more fun!
@@killersoxos 0 mobility? I believe sorc get free dashes with identity gauge that gives super armor. Although using it delays ignite mode, saying 0 mobility is incorrect.
I have 100% uptime on Dominon, Hype 2 conviction judgement into awakening. It can be unreliable at times with conviction judgement proc, but it works decently well for me.

God Tier guide for SF , throw away crappy maxroll or any other writen guide . To get this info i did around 100hrs worth of research (if thats enough) and im still not finished . I like the details he is explaining like with bolting crash , NOONE does this , some dont even tell you its a counter , let alone skilled to tripple counter... ppl hopefully realize how important all this is to get max results out of the class . The relic set differences with must have runes is also very important ! If your doin pugs like me , you can use CB as defensive measure when stuff gets out of control or you wanna skip dodgy boss attacks like valtans whirlwind . Great guide keep this up for other classes ATK !

I was regretting soulfist for the longest time, basically never got a single mvp....now with dominion fang set and EO, it is so fun. I'm getting cruel fighter over 75% of people the same ilvl as me and just loving it. 3-4 months of sucking is finally worth it lol
Just wondering if 1600 swiftness is required but 1500 is the max from accessories and we dont have the bracelet yet are we just reliant on the supports buffs from like swamp of yearning to help cover that gap?
I love my Soulfist. Soulfist is great after you invest a 1000 hours into the game and a gigantic pile of resources on gems and the best acc in the game..... but you still have to suffer with it through pre 50 , tier 1 , tier 2, tier 3 pre 1370, pre-1415. then you get a relic set to help cope with your under-par design compared to other classes. but yeah soul fist is great nothing wrong with it, I love mine but let's face it . its because of the dragon ball design that gives us so much nostalgia. not to mention that smilegate is working on a redesign for the class putting a big '' what if'' over class , will they fix it ? or break it? too much investment for a big risk, for now I will wait to see the final changes before I upgrade mine to reach relic just a little rant abut the class that we love so much. this video answered everything I wanted to know and this interviews are fantastic I hope one day we have one for each class, the ultimate guide for lost ark.
just one question for dominion set how does it performer in later raids cause in total you have the buff for 12 minutes Max and there are fights that goes more than 12 minutes like Brelshaza phase 5 the berserker mode is in 19 minute or 17 minutes
I know this is old, but in trixion you have nothing interrupting you, in an actual raid, you will have to stop DPS to dodge damage and the energy release buff can expire, flash step can cover up that gap in attack power buff.

Pre-NA release soulfist was hyped up for RS soulfist focusing on Awakening Damage with people saying EO was unplayably bad especially in later T3 as RS scaled higher and now EO is the best spec with a 7% damage buff and 3% buff to the EO engraving. Couldn't find any good info pre-release and apparently it was all wrong for a lot of classes. Looking forward to Spec Arti which is apparently more OP than I was lead to believe pre-launch.
does anyone know the difference between the last tripods of clipping barrier，since they do the same damage ，Im wondering if their speeds are the same ，cuz I got a level 4 tripod drop but its the other one not keen judgement
honestly this seems really poggers, one of the biggest reasons I dont like robust is those times you mess up and accidentally go 0 energy.. it feel so shitty when that happens. Well conversly that means that robust is pretty chill since you kinda gotta wait at times before attacking or you go 0 energy... I dunno maybe thats just me beign a bad soulfist.
The domination set bonus from relic gear gives you a damage buff after you use your awakening. So he uses it. Cancels the animation with the pet menu and does a ring swap before the dungeon for the awakening engraving to add awakenings to the max per fight. it might have more effects but i cant remember. So basicly more damage for 2 mins or so. +2 awakenings in the fight.
Hello ATK I know asking class questions here is kind of pointless since interviewed player cannot see them, but I was wondering if you know what he thinks of using both class engraving, since in energy overflow rotation you always go hype 3 off cd, it increases smoothness and based on my testing it gives about the same dps as another damage engraving. I know it means you mostly don't get any energy overflow damage from being low energy, but robust is 10% damage per level instead of 5% of EO.
You are the only one who ask this really good question, i actually play my sf 1370 with double engraving cause after testing, that deal the same damage over time (RE3/Adré3/Increase mass3/EO1=Grudge3/Adré3/Increase mass3/EO1), but its a lot more smooth to play. Tell me if since this two weeks you have the answer about why no one play with this or talk about this ?
@@narugadr My findings are the same as yours, in terms of overall dps RS3 is equivalent to grudge or some other damage engraving against the dummy. However in practice you lose a lot of flexibility since the majority of your damage has to come from your hype3 window, which means if you mess up or the boss moves in a bad way or anything like that your damage will suffer hugely. honestly though if you arent worried about hardcore minmaxing your soulfist I think that using both engravings is the comfiest way to play soul fist. Also you have to play with spec on your neck for this to work to reduce recovery time, so you get less crits.
@@markcook3025 Yeah soo if no one talk about this, its just a mystery... But about the secondary stats, i try both, and crit still have better damage over time than spec. Did i miss my test ?
@@joevaldez4889 he doesnt care about the awakening damage, he uses it just for the dominion cooldown buff. In fact, Dominion reduces awakening damage by 50%
This build which is non-meta, makes me hopeful for esoteric flurry Striker until end-game. I really like swiftness type build, fits my playstyle ✨ Edit: I meant this class which non-meta in NA/EU, not the build itself...

If you’re playing with a static group, then account for 10% back attack and also synergy skills from your party (depends on your group).

Pre-NA release soulfist was hyped up for RS soulfist focusing on Awakening Damage with people saying EO was unplayably bad especially in later T3 as RS scaled higher and now EO is the best spec with a 7% damage buff and 3% buff to the EO engraving.
Couldn't find any good info pre-release and apparently it was all wrong for a lot of classes.
Looking forward to Spec Arti which is apparently more OP than I was lead to believe pre-launch.

@@StylerErtan I realize that but the 7% buff affects both specs so it was more community knowledge than anything
I am using 1550 swift and in hype3 I can easily rotate my dominion buff by the time I get hype 3 again after optimally using hype 2

no, it's hard to manage in a raid setting. where you have to align the proc, your hype level, and your awakening

You need keen judgement cuz it scales with hard hitter so you lose a lot of dmg going one of the others

honestly this seems really poggers, one of the biggest reasons I dont like robust is those times you mess up and accidentally go 0 energy.. it feel so shitty when that happens. Well conversly that means that robust is pretty chill since you kinda gotta wait at times before attacking or you go 0 energy... I dunno maybe thats just me beign a bad soulfist.

The domination set bonus from relic gear gives you a damage buff after you use your awakening. So he uses it. Cancels the animation with the pet menu and does a ring swap before the dungeon for the awakening engraving to add awakenings to the max per fight. it might have more effects but i cant remember. So basicly more damage for 2 mins or so. +2 awakenings in the fight.
Hello ATK I know asking class questions here is kind of pointless since interviewed player cannot see them, but I was wondering if you know what he thinks of using both class engraving, since in energy overflow rotation you always go hype 3 off cd, it increases smoothness and based on my testing it gives about the same dps as another damage engraving. I know it means you mostly don't get any energy overflow damage from being low energy, but robust is 10% damage per level instead of 5% of EO.

You are the only one who ask this really good question, i actually play my sf 1370 with double engraving cause after testing, that deal the same damage over time (RE3/Adré3/Increase mass3/EO1=Grudge3/Adré3/Increase mass3/EO1), but its a lot more smooth to play. Tell me if since this two weeks you have the answer about why no one play with this or talk about this ?
@@narugadr My findings are the same as yours, in terms of overall dps RS3 is equivalent to grudge or some other damage engraving against the dummy. However in practice you lose a lot of flexibility since the majority of your damage has to come from your hype3 window, which means if you mess up or the boss moves in a bad way or anything like that your damage will suffer hugely. honestly though if you arent worried about hardcore minmaxing your soulfist I think that using both engravings is the comfiest way to play soul fist.
Also you have to play with spec on your neck for this to work to reduce recovery time, so you get less crits.

But about the secondary stats, i try both, and crit still have better damage over time than spec. Did i miss my test ?

@@joevaldez4889 he doesnt care about the awakening damage, he uses it just for the dominion cooldown buff. In fact, Dominion reduces awakening damage by 50%

This build which is non-meta, makes me hopeful for esoteric flurry Striker until end-game. I really like swiftness type build, fits my playstyle ✨
