The Late Gamer Plus all the games that have just been refused classification in certain countries - they will get a lot of orders for Omega Labyrinth Z when it comes out.
Harry Radley or just buy some Singaporean PSN card and buy games from Singapore PSN digitally cheaper. Ok a lot of people not fan of digital versions, this is why good for playasia exist.
Qing Tien Very good point. Personally I do like physical copies, but if I decide to get DOAX I will get it on PSN so I don't have to deal with an angry girlfriend lol.
Phan Minh Khôi I think brutal violence and full nude charachters are often censored in Asia (for example Witcher 3) in consoles. In pc we have dlsite for hentai games (available worldwide : ) So if an Asian player wanna see nude characters in Witcher 3 import can do the trick for them too :)
1:10 Taiku No Tatsujin: Drum Session! 1:52 Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match 2:40 Summer Lesson: Miyamoto Hikari 3:20 Gintama Rumble 3:53 Super Robot Wars 4:46 Gundam 5:51 Bullet Girls Phantasia 6:29 Full Metal Panic! Fight! Who Dares Wins 7:00 Kamen Rider: Climax Fighters 7:46 Dead or Alive Xtreme 3
Np! I think this is something the channel could do again towards the end of the year. I also try and keep people updated on new games on things like Twitter and the UA-cam Community tab.
If any of you are interested in the SRW games, there is a wiki called Akurasu which brings a lot of translated information, from pilot names and flow charts, to actual menu translations and skill point guides! If you'd rather play those games completely translated, there aren't a lot of those(there is SRW J, which OG Moon Dwellers story is based of, and also SRW A Portable's translation is having a lot of progress recently!). You CAN pickup the Original Generation games on GBA which got localized, alongside Endless Frontier(from the guy who produced both Namco x Capcom and Project x Zone). Also watch OG Divine Wars & The Inspector. both great anime adaptations of the 2 OG games :)
The arcade version of Taiko no Tasujin: Drum Session is actually available in Yakuza 5 on the PS3 (in the Sega arcade). The game is available on PS Now, so PS4 and PC gamers have access to the game as well.
A little correction: Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum Session have the english language on disc in the japanese version too (not only in the Pal Asia version), I bought it in the past winter. Acutally looks like the game will be published in the west but obviously at the time of the video we didn't know it, and also the tracklist will be probably different.
I originally got my Vita partially because of Gundam Breaker 3. Great game, and it's nice that there's the option to import English games like this for those that do not speak Japanese.
I really recommend you check out Caladrius Blaze, its also an "Asia only" game that has English translation. Its a bullet hell with amazing character images and it also has a nice little feature that "deteriorates" clothes as you, or bosses lose health.
Great video man! love the content here. One thing I think you need to reverse your "ONLY." Should be: 10 Games You Can Get In English ONLY In Asia Because you can only buy these in Asia, in English. In Asia, the game is available in multiple languages, not only English.
And one thing I find somewhat amusing with that series is that it's lead artist is Yukiko Yoko a.k.a. the spouse of Taro Yoko. Kinda funny to think that there are two such contrasts in the gaming scene
You can also buy all those Asian English games if you make a Singapore PSN account and buy SGD PSN prepaid cards online. Just make sure it's singapore region, not hong kong or something.
I never expected to see Super Robot Wars on this channel but here we are. Once I saw the title, I had to check, since the last few major games have all had offical English translations.....though of varying quality.
Got 9 out of 10 of those games listed. Time to pre-order that last one :D. The more asia english releases the better especially thos elusive titles which never make it accross to the west.
The only thing that prevents me from importing more of those is the shipping and costums costs of my country upping the prices quite a bit. Still gonna get Bullet Girls 3 though, that one I really just want.
I think the main reason why SEA region becomes the main focus is that "otaku culture" different from North America and Europe. For example, in the NA region, the otaku market that sells a lot are mainly Shonen Jump or Nintendo properties. While here, Gundam, Kamen Rider, Taiko Tatsujin, basically everything, are the norm. You can find public figures shows Gunpla collection all the time. Or random normies talking about Kamen Rider Black.
Also, in 90% of the cases, when coming to game regions mainland China is not considered part of Asia. But if games get released in China it would always have Chinese. (For example, both Taiko Drum Master and Wangan series got Chinese release and has Chinese text, but in other parts of Asia that isn't Japan, only English is available. Fun thing is, Taiko Drum Master's Chinese version is called "Asia version" but isn't available outside China I think)
I really hope Trails of Cold Steel 3 and 4 get localized. I thought this list was pretty entertaining. I am glad English patches exist also for games like Sol Trigger, Valkyria Chronicles 3, Nayuta Endless trails, Mother 3, Zero no kiseki, Toradora, and more.
Western companies should start including Japanese language options in their games so Japanese gamers can import uncensored versions of their favorite games from overseas.
A lot of Western games have a Japanese option but might not be visible in the Western version. For example LA Noire, I have it for PC but there is no Japanese language option, but I've seen a video on UA-cam that has the game with Japanese subtitles.
This was basically a big commercial....and I'm okay with it. I highly recommend SD Gundam G Generation Genesis to anyone who enjoys Gundam and turnbased RPGs. The game has some very interesting side stories that were in video games/manga that never made it to the west.
I thought licensing the multiple franchises was only needed for developing the original game, but once developed it could be sold anywhere the game developer wanted to sell it.
have there been any instances/cases where a game not sold in a certain region gets a classification or rating without being submitted to that region just to prevent a game from being imported to that region. glad to see there are english releases of super robot wars
Asian English For the Win. Being a gamer who imports Japanese only games, I can say the hardest for many gamers is the language barrier especially text heavy games for those who don't read kanji or the katakana text. With music games I can play it with no language barrier at all, but with visual novels games like the To Love Ru series I just make up my own story because I have been a huge fan of the manga and anime which makes things easier for me since I know those characters well but I would suggest to avoid wasting money unless if you are huge fans of series in manga and anime and you want to pick up a Japanese only release of those games with no understanding of the text you are reading. Then there are JRPGs which can be unable to be finished unless if you know how to progress through the game without understanding the text and able to look at a Game FAQ page that tells you of the walkthrough of that game as a guide through the language barrier. Other than the obvious examples, if a game is released in Asian English and you don't understand what the hell you are doing due to the language barrier, then the Asian release is the best alternative compared to the Japanese import version.
Honestly, if 'getting back to retail' means this here, I will do it. It's time to bloody import something, asap. Uncensored, japanese niche games with the japanese dub intact and in english is everything I desire from any japanese game. So I wouldn't be salty if they would drop the western localizations entirely and instead just invest in asia english releases. Our western moral busybodies wouldn't have anything to Reeeee about anymore, because Importing something is a decision made solely by the costumer. And messing with a fanbase instead of a actual company, also means different reactions.
video made it seem like Bullet GIrls was already out, wanted to buy it.. "Not yet released til Q2 2018" Shame what happened with DOAX3, but i think it showed that there is a market for these games in the west, even if we apparently are all pussies. btw, you guys should showcase some more games like this, good for sales :)
MrGrimjaw Fortunately that garbage hasn't taken off in Japan. I suppose it's possible they will try and bring in laws against ownership and importation but that doesn't seem to be an issue at the moment. I don't want to jinx it but I think we're safe for now because the Japanese seem to be totally rejecting the social justice cool aid which is awesome.
I was excited when super robot wars was getting english translations for newer titles... but it would be nice if older titles in the series had official translations too
Fuck it,i did wonder what the uproar was with DOA so i'll give it a go and order through the link/code. Do you regularly go through games that are released in Asia-English but not elsewhere? MrSuper149 you have to literally buy it from Japan, or an online market in Asia to get your hands on the copy, and if you’re getting the fully translated release meant for the US, it’ll cost more as well as shipping costs overseas. Literally, I’ve looked at game stores where I’m at and it’s not on the shelves. At all.
I know i'm late to this conversation but i have never even heard of the yakuza series before until my freind said i have to try it. He told me about yakuza kiwami coming out awhile back and he said i have to try them i have never even heard of the series is not very big here in the USA but anyway i played the first two that released recently and really want to play more asain games that dont come to the USA.
First thing that came to mind when I heard, License Difficulties and Super Robot Wars. Macross and Harmony "could you die already" gold. Yeah, We're never gonna get any English Macross game until that IP squatter die in flames.
Was glad to get SRT V in english only to realize that i made a mistake and had to relearn to play because i got used to menus and spirit commands in kanji so much. Ugh..
English asian releases are the way to go. A lot of games that I would have tried the western releases of got censored so hard that it defeated the whole purpose of the game, so I ended up no getting them. Nowadays with every console being region free there is no reason to waste time and money trying to localize any of these games when we can easily get them either importing or through the corresponding console online digital shop. I did get Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 for PS4. I was rather curious about the game and I can say it was the sexiest platinum trophy I have ever gotten, lol.
I have a (maybe) stupid question, can I get an uncensured version of criminal girls 1 and 2 from the english-asian market? or am I sincerely screwed with that title?
This may seem like a dumb question, but is it really only South East Asia to get these ports? I'm going to Korea in a month or so and I might pick up one or two of these games when I'm over there. Do you think they will have English subs or is Korea just in a different release region?
Bypass stupid NA localization policies such as: 1. English Dubs; 2. Stupid Translations; 3. Removing Content Not Suitable for Western Audiences; 4. Getting Bashed by SJW Reviewers; 5. Being used as Political Cannon Fodder; 6. Less Profits. Nice choice of background music.
Keith Goh What's wrong with english dubs? Like I get you're one of thpse idiots that doesn't understand the process of making them but I want to hear your stupid opinion.
I also like English Dubs Actually the reason i didn't get Blazblue Central Fiction was due to them removing the English dub That being said I'm not going to avoid a game due to the lack of a dub outright but games that have dubs cannot lose them and expect me to keep supporting them this also extends to the nonsense that happened in Dynasty Warriors 9 even though it technically had a dub they threw out the entire cast for a bunch of randos and honestly that's just as bad
I would pick up any game that I can understand, i.e.; It’s in English and has English Support. I Play games in Japan and on my return to the U.S. it would be great to have All games in both languages.
I've got a few games that were shown, Kamen Rider Climax Heroes, Super Robot Wars X (I think its X) SD Gundam G Generation Genesis, and Gundam Breaker 3. The Gundam games are great but the Kamen Rider one not so much
hey censored gaming can you do a video on the changes of the japan and america versions of the show kirby right back at ya or as its known in japan kirby of the stars
Stupid question but maybe they fixed this since then. I know if i wanted to play foreign games on certain consoles i would need the Japanese version of the console. I would like to buy the Taiko game for PS4, would i need to get a Japanese PS4 or have they made PS4 games region free yet?
I'm confused by the title, because I'm IN Asia right now, and I'm sure I could get those games in Japanees, not only in English. You actually mean 'in English through Asia'.
I think I got moe chronicles in my vita collection. I collect compile heart games. Ug so many I needa hope make their way here or I needa import. When you keep buying games, but have no time to play em.
As far as I know its just the new Gundam Breaker which will come out alongside the PS4 version of the game on June 22. en.bandainamcoent.eu/gundam/news/new-gundam-breaker-will-be-available-june-22nd
These are usually great lists, but your premise is that these games are available in English and you only got three games in before you featured a game that doesn't even have an English version at all.
This might be the way to go for now... while it is unwieldy and expensive for us Westerners, it might still make the signal for Japanese developers that we *indeed want those games,* no matter what some censorship-happy media outlets might say.
Glad Play Asia exists so we can get the uncensored versions of games!
The Late Gamer Plus all the games that have just been refused classification in certain countries - they will get a lot of orders for Omega Labyrinth Z when it comes out.
I'll toast to that!
Harry Radley or just buy some Singaporean PSN card and buy games from Singapore PSN digitally cheaper.

Tiago Pereira dos Santos Silva Well that was random... KUUURINKLEZ!
watchmojos gonna steal this list
In 321
For real
if we found'em soon, just unsubcribe that old channel
I hope not
Oh no you know it
If this is how we can get the games uncensored and with English subs, I am happy to import .3.
xEPICxYOSHIx actually, yes. Censorship have never been an issue for Asia region
Phan Minh Khôi but it has for nudity and violence...
Is there some way to do it for PC?
Phan Minh Khôi I think brutal violence and full nude charachters are often censored in Asia (for example Witcher 3) in consoles.
In pc we have dlsite for hentai games (available worldwide : )
So if an Asian player wanna see nude characters in Witcher 3 import can do the trick for them too :)
Yeah, at least we can do that.

thanks man saved my life
In other words, we aren't really missing out on anything good
I only came for the Dead or Alive XD
@@VelvetMagician fortune it's uncensored right?
@@innerexpression7685 I believe so yes.
Thank you for showcasing these games, its rather tough to get this information otherwise.
Np! I think this is something the channel could do again towards the end of the year. I also try and keep people updated on new games on things like Twitter and the UA-cam Community tab.

Also watch OG Divine Wars & The Inspector. both great anime adaptations of the 2 OG games :)
Matt Hugh pretty sure the action sequences themselves are the essential part of the franchise
Zim Babwe they are
I really dislike censorship, especially when there are no legal options around it for adults
Super Robot Wars finally in english. Thank you asia!
Me as well and it is wonderful
A non-OG english SRW game is all I ever wanted.
Well, if you all are interested I know of two other SRW games that have been fully fan-translated in English: Judgement and A Portable.
The arcade version of Taiko no Tasujin: Drum Session is actually available in Yakuza 5 on the PS3 (in the Sega arcade). The game is available on PS Now, so PS4 and PC gamers have access to the game as well.
yeah, cultural differences are really something sensitive! x')
Anime girls fighting in realistic tanks *amazing*
While drifting!
Grimcreaper0514 waifu tankers aside, it's actually a pretty decent tank battle game.
I love it!!!
Honestly, the only good thing in that game is the girls
A little correction: Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum Session have the english language on disc in the japanese version too (not only in the Pal Asia version), I bought it in the past winter. Acutally looks like the game will be published in the west but obviously at the time of the video we didn't know it, and also the tracklist will be probably different.
I don't know about the PSN, but there are Japanese Nintendo Switch games only available in Japanese eShop that includes English translations.
I originally got my Vita partially because of Gundam Breaker 3. Great game, and it's nice that there's the option to import English games like this for those that do not speak Japanese.

Because you can only buy these in Asia, in English. In Asia, the game is available in multiple languages, not only English.
god bless play-asia
I want that drum game!
If you buy Yakuza 5, this drum arcade game is playable as a mini game.
And one thing I find somewhat amusing with that series is that it's lead artist is Yukiko Yoko a.k.a. the spouse of Taro Yoko.
Kinda funny to think that there are two such contrasts in the gaming scene
Wait really? There is a switch game now?
Surprised that nobody yet pointed out that the game has released in the west now haha
Have been importing a lot of English asian versions of games already. This helps a lot
Thanks for list. Couple games i dont mind trying
You can also buy all those Asian English games if you make a Singapore PSN account and buy SGD PSN prepaid cards online. Just make sure it's singapore region, not hong kong or something.
When will we get Tekken Xtreme Beach Volleyball?
Khandar William when doa gets accepted in FGC
Didn't we already get that in Tekken 3?
Thanks to southeast Asia I was able to import Gundam breaker 3. Kind of expensive, but worth every penny!
You know... Learning the language is always an option. I started studying Japanese in 1994.
Even i watch this now, i already saw Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match in the German PS Store in November of 2017
I never expected to see Super Robot Wars on this channel but here we are. Once I saw the title, I had to check, since the last few major games have all had offical English translations.....though of varying quality.
Got 9 out of 10 of those games listed. Time to pre-order that last one :D. The more asia english releases the better especially thos elusive titles which never make it accross to the west.

great video! can you do more mobile games in the future like the danmachi video you made?
I really hope Trails of Cold Steel 3 and 4 get localized. I thought this list was pretty entertaining. I am glad English patches exist also for games like Sol Trigger, Valkyria Chronicles 3, Nayuta Endless trails, Mother 3, Zero no kiseki, Toradora, and more.
Suite Life of Dio Brando Learn japanese
Well you scratch Trails off your list, lets hope for Mother 3
Dude this was awesome and hopeful! Oh man, that Karen Raida game was sick!
The one thing the sites missing is a not released in na and not released in europe tab so i can just look through games that we would of missed

Bullet Girls Phantasia and DoAX3. :)
If I had PSVR, Summer Lesson (Hikari) would complete the trinity.
have there been any instances/cases where a game not sold in a certain region gets a classification or rating without being submitted to that region just to prevent a game from being imported to that region.
glad to see there are english releases of super robot wars
Good video, next top ten should be localization teams
Bullet Girls Phantasia, a fully english fondle game. Thank you PA. I just wish they coulda done Criminal Girls as well!
"Not yet released til Q2 2018"
Shame what happened with DOAX3, but i think it showed that there is a market for these games in the west, even if we apparently are all pussies.
btw, you guys should showcase some more games like this, good for sales :)
yogensha becuse of the fenimist and sjws
MrGrimjaw Yep, it's a ready made hit piece for those clowns.
yeah everything i like they destoryed videogames comics moives starwars maybe even anime thats the last place to hit
MrGrimjaw Fortunately that garbage hasn't taken off in Japan. I suppose it's possible they will try and bring in laws against ownership and importation but that doesn't seem to be an issue at the moment. I don't want to jinx it but I think we're safe for now because the Japanese seem to be totally rejecting the social justice cool aid which is awesome.
the western market might censored it, just like crunchyroll censored danmachi touching features
I get the feeling im missing out on some great games on ps4 due to it and such vids would be handy to see what im missing.
My copy of DOAX3 is the most expensive game I have ever bought
Cyber Horror Genocide worth every penny.
Why is it expensive?
MrSuper149 you have to literally buy it from Japan, or an online market in Asia to get your hands on the copy, and if you’re getting the fully translated release meant for the US, it’ll cost more as well as shipping costs overseas. Literally, I’ve looked at game stores where I’m at and it’s not on the shelves. At all.
TheDarkkilla12 "Meant for the US" Lol. No, as the vid said it was meant for other countries on East Asia.
I got it as a gift last year 😎
Was that the theme from Wutai (ff7) in the background at the beginning?
Great video. Very informative
Thanks, I'm buying that Bullet Girls Phantasia
I don't know if Metal Slug 3D for PlayStation 2 counts, since everything is in English with Japanese subtitles (yeah, even dub and menus).
I was wondering what happened to the Gintama game...I guess I'll be hitting up PlayAsia when I get my next paycheck.
Thank you for your hard work, more video's like this please I learned of 7games I'm going to have to get now.Thank you very much.

Macross and Harmony "could you die already" gold.
Yeah, We're never gonna get any English Macross game until that IP squatter die in flames.
I'm just here for DOA
Same honestly
Was glad to get SRT V in english only to realize that i made a mistake and had to relearn to play because i got used to menus and spirit commands in kanji so much. Ugh..

I did get Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 for PS4. I was rather curious about the game and I can say it was the sexiest platinum trophy I have ever gotten, lol.
Dmc4 special edition and resonance of fate getting English physical releases exclusive to asia
There’s also been a bit of a push for Gundam in the states again..
Im just wondering if there will ever be an asia english releases of the fate stay night visual novel game, I'd buy that so fast.
Can you please give me a list of Asian English Games that are completely different from their American English Counterparts?
It's not asia english, but I did get a Japanese copy of I am Setsuna for my Switch.
It should be said for those that don't know, the physical japanese Switch release (and only the Switch one!) contains an english option.
I loved Summer Lesson and I will buy the new game when it comes out. Right now, I'm just waiting for Bullet Girls Phantasia.
What about SAO Lost Song? The PS3 ver had only have Asian English only, but not in Western release.
You sold out for merely mentioning that licensed game and its kin.
DAMN! Now I want SAO Last Song to get a North American release for PS4, XBOX ONE, Mobile, VITA, and WINDOWS STORE (for WINDOWS 10 PC)
SAO is without a doubt one of THE best anime franchises ever made
DOA PS4 special edition, and a (flat) breast mousepad.
life is good.
So a regular mousepad? lol
I have a (maybe) stupid question, can I get an uncensured version of criminal girls 1 and 2 from the english-asian market?
or am I sincerely screwed with that title?
Gintama Rumble was a really fun game and a necessity for any Gintama fan.
2:41 Title and character is named Hikari. You say HikarU.
He can say KaiRI correctly.
Asían versions are the Best thanks you playasia!! I have Gravity rush , and i'm going to buy alot of this games now
Love your content you teach me things I didn’t know
Yes, playstation 4 has so many niche games they even has game so niche not available in us/eu market even though its in english
A lot of these games are also on Amazon with free shipping.
Does Metal Wolf Chaos count? Or is it only English voice-acting, not menus / commands?
This may seem like a dumb question, but is it really only South East Asia to get these ports? I'm going to Korea in a month or so and I might pick up one or two of these games when I'm over there. Do you think they will have English subs or is Korea just in a different release region?
>(next gen) Super Robot Wars
>dual sub
All of my appreciation and grateful to you
Bypass stupid NA localization policies such as: 1.
Alright I take back #1, it is essentially the same as #2 anyway.
You want me to qualify my stupid opinion? I'm not going to do that.
I also like English Dubs
Actually the reason i didn't get Blazblue Central Fiction was due to them removing the English dub
That being said I'm not going to avoid a game due to the lack of a dub outright but games that have dubs cannot lose them and expect me to keep supporting them
this also extends to the nonsense that happened in Dynasty Warriors 9 even though it technically had a dub they threw out the entire cast for a bunch of randos and honestly that's just as bad
Keith Goh Because you don’t have a reason. There is nothing wrong with English dubs and you’re simply delusional.
SJW reviewers don't even play games. They are the bottom of journalist's world and ready to bend the truth just for money. Do not touch that trash.
With Asian English versions, we don't need anything else!
I would pick up any game that I can understand, i.e.; It’s in English and has English Support. I Play games in Japan and on my return to the U.S. it would be great to have All games in both languages.
I love Play Asia so much for giving us imports
I've got a few games that were shown, Kamen Rider Climax Heroes, Super Robot Wars X (I think its X) SD Gundam G Generation Genesis, and Gundam Breaker 3. The Gundam games are great but the Kamen Rider one not so much
hey censored gaming can you do a video on the changes of the japan and america versions of the show kirby right back at ya or as its known in japan kirby of the stars
Deffo one day!
do remember that some "hacked" consoles can play community translated games 😉
the title is confusing i thought it was going to be 10 games that people in Asia could only get in english.
bought a bunch of games from there and love em, got my friend the Girls und panzer game and he had a ball (he didn't even know it existed)
Common Rider? Looking forward to Super Ludacris Kart.
Italo Otaku WAH! WAH! WAAAAAAAAA!
Kamen*
TheSpidersider I heard him. He said it wrong.
Stupid question but maybe they fixed this since then. I know if i wanted to play foreign games on certain consoles i would need the Japanese version of the console. I would like to buy the Taiko game for PS4, would i need to get a Japanese PS4 or have they made PS4 games region free yet?
never mind i went ot the website and got my answer
I'm confused by the title, because I'm IN Asia right now, and I'm sure I could get those games in Japanees, not only in English.
You actually mean 'in English through Asia'.
I think I got moe chronicles in my vita collection. I collect compile heart games. Ug so many I needa hope make their way here or I needa import. When you keep buying games, but have no time to play em.
As for Gundam Breaker is no longer a case since the new entry of the game is even coming out on Steam.
Charles Sami Amyouni for real ? You mean gundam breaker 4 will be on steam as well ?
As far as I know its just the new Gundam Breaker which will come out alongside the PS4 version of the game on June 22.

These are usually great lists, but your premise is that these games are available in English and you only got three games in before you featured a game that doesn't even have an English version at all.
Ah Asia...MMMmm...Truly just PLAYASIA
How are prices on Play asia? Never checked but I sould like to get some ps4 games that I cant get here.
DOAX3 is not in stock on Play Asia. com
did not know summer lesson got a english translation
Anyone know of any other games like this? Is there a list somewhere with all these English Asia games?
what about super robot wars I - IV and VI - IX?
This might be the way to go for now... while it is unwieldy and expensive for us Westerners, it might still make the signal for Japanese developers that we *indeed want those games,* no matter what some censorship-happy media outlets might say.
Its not that Super Robot Wars X was easier than V but more like that release have more difficulty levels from begginer to veteran.
