I also wipe down the cabin first thing, but I expect it to still be 'clean' beforehand. I would of lost it with the hand/fingerprints on the window, plus all of the other crud and dust you wiped up. I would have called to have it cleaned.
In hindsight I should have done what you said, called and have them clean the cabin. If this ever happens again, I will definitely do this. I had to put the camera down and go over the whole cabin again with more wipes. Plus the cabin steward wasn’t changing my sheets everyday. He was putting the clean sheets in the overhead cabin above my bed. After day 3, I took it upon myself to strip down the whole bed so he would have to put fresh sheets on my bed.
Door’s get like that from being open with the weather. Some people prop them open. Not sure why let all the humid in the room. It’s good to do the extra cleaning. Room stewards work hard. I ask them not to change my sheets daily . Always take a shower before I go to bed . I don’t change my sheets daily at home . When I was in the navigator. We arrived in our room and the room sort and hadn’t cleaned the deck, and there was dirty dishes and flies everywhere . They cleaned it up fast
