    I dig what you’re saying Scotty!
    What I look for in genetics- effect is primary, smells and taste is next, growth/structure, cloning, and yield.
    Environment- always strive for the perfect summer day/night
    Nutrition- my best advise is start with a simple recipe like Grow Dots or a 2 or 3 part nutrient base then add other ingredients one grow at a time and see what they do.

    Getting the plant use to the environment. I noticed that if I keep a low humidity (not by choice) like 35-45%humidity my ladys will preform just fine. But if I tried to re adjust my humidity and Temps to ideal climate they wont respond as well as if I had it dialed in from the beginning!? Winter can be really dry so the humidity struggles allowing me to leave more leafs on during flower so if this get a little out of control I just get a different terp profile, still my cherry pie always comes thru

    I try to do all those items you so correctly discussed AND I do use a small CO2 Gen in the tent during light period. The plants need less CO2 during the dark periods, so the generator goes off with the lights. That said, in my grow mix, besides the standard items - peatmoss, perlite, vermiculite, coir, etc I always add guano ( bat+seabird) worm castings, leonardite, agro char ( a great source of carbon, as is wood ash ) and micro nutrients. All organic. I use the various Dr. Earth fertilizer mixes during the different growth stages and I use sulfur and bone meal as well. During the final stage as tricomes are beginning to become opaque, molasses + H2O mix, then a final week of Signal or a similar product for a final 'sweeting' effect. This is just based on my experience and there's nothing scientific about it but it seems to work for me. My 'basic' soil mix isn't peatmoss but instead it is my compost which is filled with worms. In my large compost I recycle my various garden soil, rotating 'used' soil with compost with built-in worm castings. Compost tea is great for watering and lessens the need for added N-P-K, as all those are in compost and at a dilution that will not burn leaves. I use H2O with distilled water which I make in the greenhouse - the steam off the condenser keeps humidity higher and it throws off sufficient heat to keep the tents warm. I am VERY into cloning and set aside certain females for pollination with pollen taken from attractive males!
    It will all work, even for novice Gardners, if they watch the guys like yourself that provide correct info on best practices for growing. Thanks and I hope some Newby reads this. If old time guys find any fault with this, please advise by ur comments.

    These might be elementary questions. Can photoperiod be bred to where there is less variation between plants grown from seed.
    Do clones grow taproots. I prefer to grow from seed so breeding a photoperiod to something close to a IBL would be the perfect compromise for myself.

    • @hsyndicate7585
      @hsyndicate7585 6 місяців тому +1

      As long as the breeder is attentive to the traits they are selecting and are running enough generations down the line most variables can be removed. At that point you can take an S1 and they will mostly be stable. At minimum it take 3 generations to start to narrow down the gene pool. The first gen (F1) will be a mix of the two plants expressing the dominant genes. The second (F2) will have a portion of the plants expressing recessive genes. The third generation (F3) using like plants from the previous generation will start to lock in those traits. It can take more generations if you trying to get recessives to express 100% of the time, or the opposite of completely removing them from the pool. Clones will never grow a tap root and will have less vigor then a seed plant and highly selected gene lines will generally have less vigor then a hybrid.

    Its so easy go organic soil.feed the soil method this way you only have to worry about ph water level.only need half gallon water every 5 to 7 days for 3 to 5 gallon pots.dont put light on high close to plant ans give plant 4 hours of resr they like little people air food sleep😂😂😂😂😂😂.harvest when half the hairs are amber keep light off humidity 45%-55% 7 days hang full plant.then when you get better you learn about mycorrizal fungi -recharge powders,compost teas and top feeds.small technics like pruning, lst, mulch.most best technique for everyone to double harvest is lst.👍👍

    Here’s the master list it’s all in the soil you don’t really need anything else but water tap filtered ro don’t matter if your a beginner follow the coot mix to the t as a jump point you can always work on your own mix later so that’s your soil mix in your malted barley find ur local mushroom farm mix in a few spent mushroom blocks there free as it’s a waste product and they have to pay to get rid of them so they’ll let u take as much as u want then get yourself an earthbox run your plant with too watering till ur confident it’s big enough to start watering down the tube I’d say once your plant is about a foot tall you should be good to fill the tube up and then just fill when it’s bone dry in the bottom. That’s all u need to do have a decent light if your on a budget and need a light that out performs big name stuff get a apelila 8000 watt u can find them on eBay Amazon for under $100 it has to be this brand for some reason a lot of similar styles but this specific brand is phenomenal I use 3 of them and one on it’s own out does Mara hydros spider farm. That’s all I need to do don’t over think it it’s just a plant get quality seeds aswell and you will have to try to fail👍 good luck

    Can you use recharge in a hydroponic system

    • @ScottyReal420
      @ScottyReal420  6 місяців тому

      Recharge needs growing media to colonize properly, if it is left in water without growing media the microbial balance will become off and it will cause PH issues. We also don't recommend that is be run through drippers or feeding system because the molasses can clog lines. You can top water in Some if you are doing a coco based hydro setup and we have heard of people doing root dips when changing out the Res in dwc
