The 2018 farm bill loophole is going to be closed. No more legal hemp THCA or 0.3% THC in seeds . No more sending seeds through the mail . Everyone should call their US senators and encourage them to sign on to Senate bill CAOA that legalizes cannabis at the federal level ! Read the CAOA bill online and call your senators !

In 1994, I was in 4th grade. You og growers really plowed the way for me now at age 40 . Thank You. Can you believe how many states went legal and now we're seeing schedule 3? Pretty amazing for me but can't imagine how great it's gotta be for you having lived through more of the bullsh*t

It's been a journey. Put on the Sowing Seeds Festival on 4.20.96 in Boulder Colorado. Staffed the High Times Hemp Fest Whee! festival in 1997 where Jack Herer first got medical cannabis on the referendum ballot and it passed.
Still quietly making history behind the scenes like I have always done, for 30 years now.
My genetics, I will never get credit for, are a labor of love.

Who even gets on anyone’s back about how they grow? It’s my biggest surprise commenting is how some will go into attack mode over a f*cking plant. Nobody in the neighborhood has knocked on the door and told my wife her flower garden sucks because she (fill in the blanks). Likewise with my annual crabgrass killer, weed killer and fertilizer application. The yard is green and the weeds are gone and nobody cares how I accomplished the task.
Yet here I am literally being called an idiot for the way I grow herbal medicine. Do ya’ll think there’s any egos involved here with some folks? I just try to ignore the chatter.

None of them are really backcrossing new strains hardly anyways. It's all select cuts of unicorns. They name it and it's not even as far as an F3!
Everything they are making is simply a pheno of strains we already bred into the early 2000's.
Everything they make today with some exceptions, like EQ Genetics, is really just an Afgan, a Thai, an American Sativa, and a Chem Brothers strain all bred together into similar varietals.
People are now beginning to hunt landraces like the Malawi one.

Old stable got stale and already found multiple new winners! green crack x jealousy and SFV x jealousy winners. Old school terps n potency with a lil hybrid vigor back into the clones! the jealousy reversal used keeps most of the traits of the mother and imparts a tighter bud structure and increased frost without ruining the nose of the old school terps! smells like high school(2006 era of heirlooms and banging OG from Cali!) and im so pumped. Also bought some clones to revamp my heirloom collection. If you're going to buy packs, buy packs you've heard good things about from multiple people who have actually grown it.
Testers are truly hit or miss, do the tried and true packs if you want to get good results, it's worth the extra $.

Seeds are the way to go outdoors because of the volume. Clones are the easiest indoors with a perpetual flower garden. Every two months you are pulling ounces and ounces of quality smoke 💨
I get the fun of seeds though.
I will blow you away indoors though using clones while you are waiting for seedlings to veg enough to throw in the flower garden. Alot cheaper than seeds too. My opinion anyways.

I 💚 clones. Seeds are easier to send to a friend. Clones might not grow as vigorously, but I’d rather have the sure thing vs a possible vigorous herm. Pheno hunting is something you pay for in a clone or with your time and space with seeds. Quality clones around here go for $20 each- get 2 or 3 and clone them. I’d gladly pay that vs $50 for a 5 pack of beans.

I've had an old timers that used to tell me that they used to take the stock after they cut it they would leave some on it and they would regrow it next year after about 10 years they really don't produce much after that but if you find one that does really good in your spot you dig it up and bring it inside and put it under a 4-foot fluorescent and I even had a friend that would just leave it. If it was a mild winter it'll really grow back next year I had a family member of mine that had one in a barn for almost 10 years they had a pile of chicken manure that had been rotting for 10 years that's basically the way they did things they would let manure Rock for 10 years they put the whole pile on it. That thing had a tree trunk for a base that was the last year that they wrote it and it took and grown outside of a barn almost 100 ft the limbs were laying on the ground it looked like a bunch of plants but it was just one massive huge plant when they took it down it filled up a tobacco Barn. Of course it was just personal and it probably lasted 10 years that one plant did

Clones are nice, but I enjoy growing from seed. Watching them from sprout to harvest is what I enjoy. I also just ordered some of your grow dots and recharge. Thanks for the scotty420 code. Can't wait to try this stuff out! Keep up the great work!

Seeds are fun. Clones are consistent... hence clone. I can't imagine something more fun than crossing my own amazing plants I created with any and every amazing strain/cultivar out there and see what happens myself.

I have one bud left from me "unicorn" I didn't know was a "unicorn".
NYC Diesel feminized seed stuck in dirt on Feb.1, cooked by LED light until mid April when I was smoking it. Not bad, but not much either.
I don't know where to get clones, so I stick to seeds.

I’m a first time grower outside and the seed selection is bad at my dispensary’s and so I bought a clone. Problem is, is that there was very little information on the genetics, or how old it really was so now I’m in flower but I’m guessing as to which week I’m truly on because I didn’t have a proper timeline like I would when I grow from seed next time.

If you’re pheno hunting, seeds. Clones if you’ve found your pheno. I always clone a photo period plant that started from seed before kicking it to flower.

Clones are good because you don't have to sort male plants. Or you can just trim the buds of the mother plant. Place it in a closet for 2 weeks.(no light) then bring it back out and start it back up.

Asking “what’s better, seeds or clones?” gets folks riled up. Apparently some consider seeds inferior so I’m going to tell a story.
I worked in traffic department at NK Seeds in the 80’s. They had a big packet seed business and had racks in all the stores. At the end of the season we would hire college kids to pack up the racks and remaining seeds and return them to the warehouse. I guess that made me a seed guy. I still like getting new seeds in the mail with the cool packaging and crazy strain names. So yeah, there is a precedent to prefer seeds.
I have no point but it’s a true story.

I like to grow a few cycles of clones just to dial it in for reaching max potential, but I'm doing it for myself and it does get boring. I like the idea of having several strains to rotate through to add diversity, but I'm limited on space and like trying new strains. The big problem I'm having is with breeders selling poor quality seeds
