    Thank you Doc, please i want to know if it is necessary to have all inputs affecting or present in the system equation before be able to control them?

    Hi prof, thank you very much for your amazing lecture... I have a question. If you find set of input sequence m and select just the first one to use in predicting the output. why we select set of input control horizon if we use the first one only what the point?? thanks

    . A distinguishing feature of MPC is its receding horizon approach. Although a sequence of M control moves is calculated at each sampling instant, only the first move is actually implemented. Then a new sequence is calculated at the next sampling instant, after new measurements become available; again only the first input move is implemented. This procedure is repeated at each sampling instant.
    But why is an M-step control strategy calculated if only the first step is implemented?
