Perfect. You can take less no.of Green chilies also. 1 tbsp of mayonnaise during marination can alter the taste
The purpose of the marination is to flavour the fish and mayonnaise is creamy dip which will create a greasy layer on fish which will not allow the flesh to be flavoured. It's completely contradictory process.

why did you coat bread crumbs twice...just to make the crust thicker???
To make the fry crispier. All Kolkata deep fried fries and chops are coated twice to enhance the crispiness, not to make thicker crust :)

Barramundi is known as bhetki in Bengali. You can use tilapia, basa filet for the same instead :)
