I liked Davoth. He was really a tragic villain who just wanted the best for his creations. But his inability to understand his limits brought his downfall.
This boss fight reminds me to the final boss of Wolfenstein New Order; General Deathshead. As in both battles, the bosses fights against the heroes using some advanced armed mechas, that even includes some defenses, making that the heroes must to finds a way to inflicts damage to the Dark Lord and Deathshead. Adding that both battles are conformed by several phases, making this boss battles very long. And once defeated, the respectives mechas ended notably damaged, to the point of leaves the Dark Lord and Deathshead vulnerable for a final blow; a stab in the chest. Though that the heroes paid a price for this victories; Doom Slayer ended in a comatose state for killed his creator and was buried in a coffin, and BJ was severely injured for a grenade by Deathshead, leaving him in a dying state, until that he replaced his body.
Doomguy gun generates a blue energy beam to combat the red armor of his evil clone who has a gun that generates red energy is like a collision between earth and mars.
This is how stupid this dark god is to get hit on the head with a hammer 18 times under one of the swings? He does not pull on the creator of all this.
Imo the dark lord should have been an equal to doom guy, armed with an SSG, a mid range and a ranged weapon of some sort. Similar to the marauder he will use SSG when player gets close and ranged attack when he gets too far. The mid range weapon must be a dodgeable projectile. Now where this guy differs from the marauder should have been that instead of using the shield, the guy should have had intensely fast movement and rocket dodging skills. More similar to the fight from The Dusk final boss
We need the next Doom to be The Slayer using just a sword, and blocking or dodging attacks a bit like skyrim sword and Board but way more violent with upgrades revolving around durability, speed, and counter attacks. Make him fight against other corrupted enemies from other timelines that didn't take place in his. Let's pretend he has warriors to verse from other dimensions that are corrupted, allowing the slayer to be revived and rebuilt but no longer able to use guns. Considering the Dark Lord which was Doom Slayer's creator didn't use guns the way he did, it would make Doom Slayer's reputation of being The Slayer who is Swift and Unyielding more apt since he'd be using a melee weapon.
Yes actually. The game director, Hugo Martin, said that there was an issue where players weren't noticing when enemies were stunned and said he'd try to improve that. I think what they did is tried to use an image that everyone knows so that it is perfectly obvious and clicks immediately in your head.
I'm gonna say it. Doom Eternal was overrated. The gameplay was the only good part. They focused too much on the Sentinel bs. I would have preferred to have had a DLC from a UAC soldier's perspective. Seeing his squad slowly die off at the hands of the demons and seeing the struggles of a human during the hell invasion and seeing what happened to the space colonies.
Yep. It was overrated in a many ways... Even this ending and the plot itself - we were playing for agressive kiddo with godly powers, who was outsmarted almost by everyone. And we were fighting against the victim of the copyrights, cause techincally, these ''angels'' stole copyright for universe creating from the Davoth. And the main villains captured DoobSlayer in the same box that he was captured earlier according to lore. He fell for this godly prank again. Davoth put his weapon down after defeating and he was still alive. We can't know that, but maybe there were possibilities t oexplain to him obvious things. He and Doomslayer were decieved almosy by the same persons - so they could understand each other... If our hero's head wasn't made of godly concrete. Kill these angels for revenge, cure the Davoth's wrath with it and... just go on.

Hearing doomslayer say just one word sent chills down my spine
I love how every time the Doom Slayer speaks, his captions say “Doomguy”, implying this is still the Doomguy from Doom 1 - 64
It was pretty much confirmed by the one flashback where he has the og helmet taken off of him

What ?
@@corrosivedipz7451 He’s Jewish and in the Doom universe, unfortunately God doesn’t exist
The kill was worth it. It’s so sad how he died
If they do another live action doom movie they should have Michael Shannon ( general Zod from man of steel) as doom guy.
the dark lord is kinda just a overpowerd murrader
good job

Nice, the similarity didn't occur to me before.
@@gamingasart Well, i guess that this is fitting, as BJ is the ancestor of Doomguy.
in the first Wolfenstein the original game, the boss was Hitler in a mech.

He is resting until he is needed once more
