You. Like. Winter? Wish I was you as we have winter for about 8 months in MN!!! The only thing awesome about winters in MN is cars with all-wheel-drive and heated seats and amazing winter boots (I got another pair this year...). Thanks for watching!!
I agree Johnny! Professor Agar's "Tree of Life" is very beautiful!! Do you really want a copy? Thanks for watching our video! Hope you were able to capture some amazing wintery photos of your own! (Or lucky enough to not be able to lol) :))
IMO just get a really nice jacket and dont worry so much about your camera gear getting ruined. I've never had a P/S or DSLR bite the dust or get damaged from a little rain, freezing rain, snow, or -40 below weather - battery doesn't last as long though which is true so keep a spare in your pocket all nice and warm.
You are very lucky to not have had problems during inclement weather with your photography gear!! MN winters are brutal to humans and mechanical/electrical things so we worry... and need warm jackets with big pockets. Thanks for watching!! Good luck to you!!
@@hypercube33 WI has even more snow!! I've frequented Cumberland and Rice Lake in the past. I used to think it was a boring drive to and from but then I looked and really saw all the beautiful old buildings and sites along the way. I love rural landscapes! Stay safe! -L
Great to see you two again! What a great over view, especially of the color filters. Love the large format camera Professor Agar had too! Did the photo books arrive? Keep up the great work! Thanks!
“The usual technique of overexposure and underdevelopment”. I have a ‘snowroll’ from early Feb: Bergger Pancro 400 at EI 200. Was a mistake and was afraid to develop it until I heard this. Will try with Rodinal at 50% of Normal dev time. I think :). You guys are sparks of inspiration and there’s so much in each episode! Thank you!
Thank you Koen!!! Make sure to watch some of our other videos before you develop that roll: Develop Your Film...Wrong! ua-cam.com/video/OdpfRqDDZyw/v-deo.html and Practical Problems Solved in the Darkroom: ua-cam.com/video/7eha7v1tVzA/v-deo.html. Good luck to you!!! Hope you develop amazing snow pictures!!
Good to see you again. You have wonderful winter in Minnessota :) That's remind me winter in old country. I like winter photography as is usually less crowd around. Thanks for tips. You are inspired me to shot more B&W landscapes.
Awesome Almach!! Glad to have inspired you :)) There ARE less people out in winter-and I'm one of them! This video inspired me too: I think I'll get a pair of snowshoes for next winter and maybe I'll be out more (other than to shovel or go to work) and enjoying winter! Where is the old country? Hope you encounter and capture beautiful landscapes!!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed our video!! I think the snow (in our neck of the woods anyway) hung around a little longer so everyone could get some practice shooting in cold weather :))
hmm i like winter and i like photography ... win-win ;) thx for the video
