Thank you very much indeed for your work, for your sensibility and for opening doors to a world nowadays even more closed. Please, keep on Rockin' in the (our) Free World! Cheers, Laura and Prof. Will Agar!!!
Hi Trangent, A long time ago, several years in fact I asked you and the Prof that I was looking for a certain photographic paper that had a stipple effect on it and it was on my mum & dads early 1950s wedding photos. At the time we couldn't find out what it was. Well recently I found out that the photographic paper traditionally was sealed with a clear varnish or shellac by the photographic firm using a roller which gives it a very fine stipple effect. it looks beautiful, I've tried it and it works. Please pass this on to the Prof. All the very best to you both, JH.
I have a Mamiya RB67. It is a great camera, but it is huge and heavy. I think mostly used as a studio camera, or possibly a boat anchor. Nice to see you both again. I'm glad you are both well. Thanks for letting us follow along, I enjoyed it.
Haha Ian-a boat anchor!! :)) I hope you can put the camera to better use than that!! Thank you for your kind words about our video and contest! Hope you are well also and have had a great start to 2021! -L
This was great fun, motivating, and I learned a lot! About Lee Friedlander -- yeah, I feel I've never seen his pix before, but how can that be? Many thanks for the tip! So many memorable entries -- looking forward to your doing it again!
Thanks Kurt!! Glad you enjoyed it! So thrilled to introduce you to a photographer whose work is amazing and that yours resembles!! I didn't know of him either until now, and discovered I really liked his work. This was such a fun contest and project! Interacting with the photographers and seeing their work was so inspirational and moving for both of us! I too am looking forward to 'do it again!' Congrats!!! -L
England is part of the UK, you wouldn't say 10 from the USA and 1 from New Mexico. So it's US:11, UK:2, GER:2, B:1 - without trying to be extra clever ;-)
Ok, now I'm enlightened :)) That was a tough one for me to figure out and I just went with the info I had. Thanks for following along with our contest! Maybe we'll see a submission from you if we have another? ;) -L
@@Trangent Thanks for reading and answering! I'm not sure if my photography is submission worthy and I'm generally bad with assignments but I like the show. Take care, both of you and regards from Austria, Martin
Thumbs up.
Always a pleasure.
Thank you JP!!!!
That was great!! Thanks! ....do it again!...do it again! It's fun for us on this end but I know it's a lot of work on your end.
Thank you Tom!!!
