The best part imo is when you are in the boss fight and then you realize how hard this song is slapping while halfway through dudes health bar
I literally know nothing Warhammer 40k by itself, but Darktide makes me feel like I should read every book, play every game, and watch every video on it until my brain cannot physically contain it.
For the Emperor of course.
Don't worry there people around that knew about years ago before I was even born some of them(knew of 40k since I was 9, Warhammer since I was 5.)

Black Templars are Imperial Fist successors, and as a result are cringe as hell. Iron Warriors are the REAL patrician's choice.

I love how darktide's soundtrack catches the spirit of what hiver music must be like, for all its space gothic, plenty of parts in the imperium are straight up cyberpunk, specially if you get illegal modifications to fiddle around with the noosphere.
Especially with stuff like Necromunda
AdMech is just religious cyberpunk at the end of the day.

Jesper Kyd did really well evolving Vermintide's sound into something that matches the new setting perfectly.
You are in the wrong universe if you think any hive citizens have any spare time for any culture, music or personal choice.

Darktide has some optimization, balence, and server issue work to resolve, but i'm overall very satisfied and wanting more. The music also slaps so damn hard.

This track is what makes the Traitor Captain Boss Fights so badass.
Assassination missions are my favorite for that reason.
Jesper Kyd needs to be protected at all costs him and his talent along with his personality is incredible and unmatched
Mick Gordon does exist, but Jesper Kyd seems to be very talented as well.

He's great but there's something about Jespyrs style, especially ambient tracks they always perfectly fit with the scenes, I listen to his soundtracks every day pretty much all day and I get the same chills each time from them, he nails his spacey/futuristic tracks
Jesper also did most of Borderlands 2's OST.

See, I’d go for “hivestep” personally. From what I’ve seen of the game, this fits perfectly with that grimy, undercity feel, with a smidge of cyberpunk to it.
Already used this as the boss theme for a juiced-up techno-maniac orc pirate captaining a smoke-sputtering flamethrower-armed airship in a high fantasy D&D game
I'm using this as my Doom Slayer themed paladin theme.

The music of Darktide is good, it totally sets the whole mood when a horde is coming in and you just start to get into hacking your way through masses of groaning pox walkers

This same composer made some of the absolute most iconic music in gaming. The most iconic Assassin's creed themes like "Earth" and "Ezio's Family."
"Distressed string instrument" was not something I realized would fit so well with music for the Imperium.
