I've had good results with Ballistol pre-mix. 10 parts water to one part Ballistol wets and washes and leaves a thin film of mineral oil.

I just flood my otf with regular wd40 when its dirty, dry it out with compressed air and apply my slip 2000 ewl to it and let the excess drain overnight and its pretty smooth

scout carry or regular vertical sheath no doubt the best way to carry a fancy OTF knife. Always at least a small accumulation of debris or lint or something winds up in your pockets. good tips Capt Dave!!

Orrr carry in your Cargo pocket, with NOTHING else in that pocket.
There is a flap to keep debris out, even washing and drying your pants/shorts
