And yet, many of the figures now proven to have been voicing legitimate concerns about lockdowns, vaccine mandates and the country's future post-Covid were nowhere to be seen. I'm in Canada the prime minister was ostracizing us with his speech. My massage therapist made disgust faces and didn't want to touch me. Friends said I don't deserve health care when I get sick.

Governments acting in the interests of corporations. There's a clear difference. Governments didn't simply wake up one morning and decide to coordinate this atrocity with seamless precision on their own.
Overreach by governments world wide shows just how far the rot has gone. This doesn't happen overnight, something like this is planned and executed. Corruption of all western govts has been happening for years. A close look at all the international agreements signed by most of them will reveal that they are working for different masters than their population. Follow the money, follow the power and watch who they get employed by after they finish their terms.

During the pandemic I followed the science; which means I didn't lock myself down, I didn't wear a mask, and I didn't take the jab. Never knowingly got Covid either.

After all, if you kill the host that's not a very effective evolutionary strategy. Unherd was on the right side of history for the pandemic. By extension that means that the process I described in my comment was the whole reason for all the insanity of keeping healthy symptom free people from associating with other healthy symptom free people at say, church, or Thanksgiving dinner. They themselves said it was because a chain of invisible carriers could eventually kill somebody's grandma. Average age of those whos lives were cut short by covid? 80 something.
I am a qualified registered nurse of 40 years. I weas sacked because I refused the jab here in NZ. Midwives took their case to court and tge judge found against them. No lawyer will take us on. I followed the Great Barrington gang from the get go. I signed the declaration. Most NZ nurses and doctors don't even know about it and were forbidden from giving exemptions. I cheered the Swedes on for their common sense mangement. I will never follow govt orders again. They are unworthy of any respect. Thanks guys for your alternative inquiry.

It was a deliberate planned operation . Here in France unvxd were ostracised, sacked, etc. Early treatment with Ivermectin, Hydroxy chloroquine was forbidden. Joseph Abiodun Ladapo is the surgeon general of Florida. He has made public there here are laws preventing genetically modified organism use in human beings. This is clearly unlawful killing.

At first in the US the government asked doctors to share treatment ideas. Very quickly the same government agencies sent threatening emails and letters telling them that if they shared alternative treatment ideas they would loose their licensees. I’m always amazed regarding the number of people that I speak to who have absolutely no idea about anything other than what they are told by the main news media.
I always found Sunetra's views too mild and consistently glossing over the fact of the deadly nature of these experimental medications. Also she completely ignored the science of natural immunity being far superior. Why should any medical treatment involve risk of death??? Even one person's or child's life is so precious!

I tend to think that academics were as guilty as politicians for most of the appalling situation we were caught up in.
Prior to Covid, Australia had a set plan and response for a pandemic, in place dor decades...and a major part of the response was NOT to do lockdowns, and that lockdowns would be counterproductive.
Same in the UK.

Let me make an extremely important point here, the vast majority of people who took the medication will have no problem at all but when you mass medicate five billion people without aspiration, if only one in every thousand are affected. That is five million people who are potentially harmed. That is approximately the population of a small country like Finland and pretty shameful. Should it be one in every hundred the figure is fifty million harmed individuals and that is in the realm of catastrophe.
Contrary to popular belief it was never made mandatory by the government in Britain but the nudge unit inside number ten with the aid of MSM and dumb celebrities made damn sure the average person was scared shitless. That is coercion by psychology and is a despicable ploy by those in charge, tricking the public into submission. Why was that allowed in a free society?

We will never know the number of deaths due directly to this MRNA medication because they will occur over a 3 to 5 year period and result in an untold number of diseases. The T cells are suppressed and wherever your body's vulnerabilities, there will be the disease that gets you.

Florida was kept open by Gov DeSantis, and focused protection was employed for nursing homes. Except for several weeks at the start medical appointments were readily available in all areas of medicine. Surgeons continued to work. People had operations. And Florida did not have an age adjusted death rate higher than locked-down California. A year ago Spring of 2023 in Canada you couldn’t be admitted to a seniors residence/ nursing home unless you were Covid vaccinated, there is no sense to this in my mind.

NATO nations had been running simulations and practicing for a pandemic since 1998. It was always assumed that the pandemic would be the result of a bioweapon attack, and because of that (as well as unique logistics capabilities) the response was always a military operation. Interestingly, the last such simulation was response to a coronavirus pandemic in August of 2019.
Anyway, the pandemic response was pulled out of a drawer, not developed on the fly. It assumed the west was at war with someone. Three quarters of the people involved were military, less than a quarter were public health officials. The Swedes didn't buy in to this, and their people benefitted.

Thank God for Sweden having the fortitude to make their own decisions based on historical science and common sense. In 2020 I watched a video of the retired gentleman who had been the head of public health in Sweden for years. He made the most sense of anyone. I think a key determinating factor in why people were not thinking "something is up hear," as Sunetra Gupta so rightly commented, is because they have had all their independent thought taken away from them through our institutional systems and large private corporations, such as how you get on in the workplace. Independent thought, having an opinion and a voice is not scene, in middle management terms, as a good thing because it's "not easy to manage" and corporations and institutions operate on a short-term people strategy because they "have targets to fulfill."
Australia was flattened with lockdown, and the state of Victoria was and remains is a sad state with vaccine mandate and lockdowm.

If you look at government decision making generally on big issues at least, they take a very simplistic, and not nuanced or intelligent, approach.
It appears to be based on panic and pressure to perform in front of the main stream media and the watching population. Take the Ukraine war, they take no regard of the history and context of the situation but rather take the simplistic view that Russia invaded a sovereign nation without provocation. My own MP just answers me with that one narrative. Hundreds of thousand of soldiers and civilians lives could have been saved if they had just considered Russia's valid security concerns for a moment. A peace deal was in place and nearly ready to be signed and Boris stepped in on behalf of the US and basically stopped it (whatever he claims, he gave Zelensky the war option, an offer he would not refuse). Climate change was another simplistic panic activity. No proper consideration of the claims surrounding climate change and what was a sensible, careful approach but rather shut down fossil powered power stations, stop all petrol and diesel vehicles, create ULEZ zones and so on. No nuance, no long and careful planning, just rush jobs. The same with Covid, panic hospital building, panic experimental vaccine purchase and mandates, panic forcing of mask wearing even if the masks were useless. And through it all, those who get make great wealth out of these crises (and they are always looking to do so), just jumped right in and took advantage of frightened and panicking politicians.

I am utterly shocked to hear Sunetra Gupta refer to the toxic gene therapy as a vaccine. There is ample evidence from a study in Qatar that natural immunity is far superior to vaccine immunity. I was disappointed that she knows so little about COVID and the vaccine.
