0:57 wasn't the breaching and clearing of the room alittle slow cuz the pointman cleared the left and (maybe) got in line of the gunman before the second guy moved in to eliminate the threat. Those who specialise in CQC pls explain
It's a public simulation that's why it's slow. That's why all the fake terrorists are acting and not serious like training. Anyways point man is supposed to take one side while 2nd man takes the opposite
Yes, but by right, When you clear a room depending on where you stand, you clear your blind spot. (Meaning you stand leftside of the door, you can see the right side of the room (like in the video, so you clear the left. The next person clears the right) and vice versa.
But also depends on which way the door opens as well. Once door is breeched/opened, stun grenade in and popped, start clearing.
What should/could have been done was, breecher on the left side of the door(as door swings right), team and stun grenade to be prepped on the right side of the door before breeching the door (pointman goes in (already cleared left side as it's his line of sight) before sweeping to clear right side (blind spot), assault man (stun grenade) to clear left side of the room after pointman goes in, slackman to cover the rear.
This will depend on the 1st guy reflexes. If he encounter the criminal and didn't shoot, whole team is done. So the 1st guy entering is crucial.
But there are other cases. You can look up in UA-cam on room clearing. There is a UA-cam documentary/lessons on room clearing taught by spec ops to other spec ops on different room layouts and types of entryway.
So this type of entry, in my opinion, has no right or wrong. But it could be done better/faster.

All the EOD gives is a thumbs up, can’t they show more into what the EOD operator do?
They dispose bomb ah. The thumb up show that the bomb is defused. What else u want them to show? Cut the cable?
Means that they have cleared the suspected explosive device. If the explosive was dangerous to move, the EOD operator would use a robot to defuse it from a distance.
If they show the exact tools being used, any future "would be" attackers know exactly what to build to counter-act with countermeasures. Security risk.
@@Kongouuu Not saying for them to show the exact tools. They can use simulated tool depictions that do not expose their technical specifications. You can bet that whatever's being shown in public eye, the "would-be" bombmakers already know well more than that. I mean, just look at the news coverage of the WWII unexploded bomb disposal in Sept 2023 and you can see more info from that. Anyway, I'm just answering TS's question.
