I am so excited to see that bad boy in operation! The idea of having punch plate in the crash box is not a bad idea. Not only does it add more gold recovery, but prolongs the life of the box.
Great looking build. Would you mind sharing where you bought the adjustable hold down clips?...I Have a Grey Wolf highbanker as well. Nice units, but I still made some small changes.
@@NorthPineOutdoors ~Many years ago Greywolf in WL put lots of Hungarian type riffles in his highbankers, I talked with Dirthogg Darcy in PG about that and he did say "what for?" as >he did not seem to agree< with that configuration, Darcy preferred expanded metal instead. ~Also Greywolf built his grizzly at a steeper angle than his feed hopper, unique idea.
Yes I agree that expanded metal has more capture zones than Hungarian riffles. I do like gold hog matting for ease of cleaning but still think expanded metal catches more. We will see how it works
Thought about it, unfortunately I’m way to busy right now to undertake more side projects. The original highbanker was a greywolf which he’s deceased now, I doubt there’s any proprietary documents or patents on the design. Maybe someday I’ll work from home building those things, haha. Don’t know if I could make a living though
I sure am but took a year off for building projects and fishing trips, we got a new claim over the fall so will be putting out some new videos come spring time
cool setup fam. great work indeed. keep at it. GOLD SQUAD OUT!!!
Thanks

Excellent design 🙂 Have you considered building them for sale? I'd be interested...
