  • I camped for 2 nights at this state park situated at the confluence of the Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers. It is a beautiful place. The main campground is high on a bluff overlooking both magnificent rivers. It is a nesting sit for the rare Cerulean Warbler. Unfortunately, I did not get any video of them. But, sitting in my campsite late in the day, an American Redstart and Cerulean Warbler having an altercation, flew down low to give me one good, eye-level shot! Usually they forage high in the treetops and are difficult to see. All of the Prothonotary Warbler video is from Effigy Mound National Monument across the river in Iowa. (Eastern Phoebe at 5:55, I forgot the label).
