The two I hear the most often that drive me nutty are “often” and “mischievous”, though I hear almost all of them! Sadly, I’ve mispronounced a few of those myself. My daughter (with both English and ELL/ESL degrees) says language is changing all the time, so some of these pronunciations will become acceptable with wide use….such as saying the “l” in almond. Also “jewelry” - with one “l” - is the American spelling and pronunciation, whereas “jewellery” is correct in Canada and the UK.
My friend Kallan (Villain3011) really learned a lot from this video thank you!

It’s helpful video
You are good teacher
Good effort
Great!
I had a lot of fun trying to guess how some of these words could be pronounced incorrectly! But you nailed it, your pronunciation is correct! I noticed a lot of the words people have trouble with are French in origin, so it's not surprising they don't get it if they speak no French. Me? English. With good French. And old enough to have been taught good language skills in school. Not like today...........hmm....🙂
Thanks a lot...Great teacher!
