There is no doubt in my mind that Prince Harry's life would have been very different if Princess Diana had not died as she did, which he blames the Paparazzi for, as this has obviously had a major affect on him and his mental health. Prince Harry was a bit of a wild child but was this because of what happened to his mother? I don't think there would have been a rift between him and his brother because with her influence I'm sure he would have made a wiser choice of bride and not found himself in the position he is today.
It seems that all his paranoia about "security" is based on his fear that his family could be hounded to death as, he feels, his mother was. It's very strange that he chose to leave the relative safety of the Royal Family and GB and move to the USA where he seems to be quite happy to make frequent public appearances and court publicity which is a far cry from the "normal" life that he said he was looking for when he chose to step down from Royal duties. I don't think his wife had the same vision for the future as he did and was never going to be happy just playing with the children and tending the chickens.
Neither of the interviewees answered the questions.
Meghan got lots of help. But she chose to ignore all the advice she was given. And what about the bullying claims? What does the female author have to say about that? Can't imagine Diana bullying anyone, especially not a young child. And what about all the lies she told about her time as a royal?

Mom died 25 years ago. It is ghoulish of Harry to keep digging up her corpse whenever he craves a dose of sympathy. He was 12 when he lost her but now he's pushing 40. If he's not grown up by now, I doubt he ever will be. With all his privileges, he has had access to the very best of counseling to no avail. At this point, I think he is beyond help.

Diana would not tolerate rudeness towards staff much less any bullying of her little granddaughter. It was a source of pride and importance to Diana that her William would one day be King. Diana was 20 years old but brought up with aristocracy.. Meagain was 40 years old thrice married and had a different agenda.
If Diana had not been killed, Harry would have developed in an entirely different way. She would understand his issues and she would deal with it privately. She's not going to discuss her views from her current standpoint.

First marriage to Joe Guiliano from a wealthy family, they realised what MM was like and advised Joe to get an annulment because of his career, he is now an Attorney, next husband Trevor Engelson. MM is allegedly 45 years old now, her birth date 04-08-1977. If you check her Court Case against the Newspapers earlier this year, it was broadcast the Judge asked MM her age, she said 44! Then if you check or remember she was on TV talked about her first kiss or boyfriend saying she was 13 she was on a Summer Camp when she met this boy Joshua Silverstein he was 13, check on internet he was born in 1977!!! So do you really believe MM was 9 years old on Summer Camp kissing a boy?? Hanging around with him on this Summer Camp allegedly.

First 5 minutes in and Ken is already blaming the Queen. How about holding Diana responsible, for once, for her own decisions. The Queen at that point (of Diana's divorce with Prince Charles) must've been so exhausted from all the drama that all that she'd wanted was for it to end. It was Diana's choice, as was a lot of what she had done later on. Stop blaming the Monarchy for everything.
Ros, there isn't an attempt to reframe Diana as a "paranoid person", people are just started telling the truth about her: she was a complex person, as is most of people. No one denies her the virtues she possessed, but let's stop with all the narrative of "saint Diana". She was many things but not a saint. This book, as does this interview, will be great for people suffering from insomnia.
Ken & Ros appear to be great apologists of H&M, going so far as to compare Mm to Diana 🤦♀🤦♀. One would hope that a former RPO would have more integrity than selling info about his former employers, but, I guess, desperate times, eh, Ken? Save the money people. Oh better buy Lady C's book on Diana, if you want her real story, and not a glossed version.
That's often the problem with the deceased. They are idolized and their faults/flaws forgotten. Diana was a wonderful woman, but she was also angry, vengeful, and manipulative.

Diana original bodyguard had to be moved on because of 'inappropriate behaviour' as he and Diana had become 'too close' , strong rumours of an affair. Diana would've been protected in the UK and was..but she and she alone made the decision to go off with Fayeds and have their security. Wharfe is scraping here. Chuck it in the bin.

Trying to compare Diana's interview with Martin Bashir was all lies, then Megan doing that interview with Oprah showed that Megan believed she was copying Diana, but the difference between the two was that Megan knew exactly what she was doing.
Diana wouldn't be happy with how her two boys have gone against each other, she'd never have let Henry marry that quickly.

I'm curious about the legality, I assume it's legal, of their marriage. They took their Vows as HARRY and MEGHAN. When I took mine, my full first and second names were used. Their legal names were not used. Odd.
Honestly, Diana had a very genuine, warm, gentle spirit that is very rare. You cannot compare Harry's wife Meghan to Princess Diana. The only comparison was they were both married into the family.
I think Diana would be so disappointed to know there's a rift between the brothers. And who caused it? IMO the vile viper gold digger MM who IMO had it planned from the beginning to marry, get the royal titles, have the anchor babies and then go to the USA to merch off the titles. There was a 60 Minutes Australia show where a very prominent writer Germaine Greer predicted that years ago. She was right!
Lady Colin Campbell’s ‘The Real Diana’ is the consummate biography of Princess Diana. She knew Diana, worked with her, and she has an unbiased view of her story.

I doubt very much she would be happy with her grandchildren being abused, nor her firstborn and his wife.
It is transparent H has been used, manipulated and humiliated, she wouldn't be happy with Megan, she was ferociously protective of her boys and took no prisoners. She would be distressed at their separation, more so at the cause.
She would be livid at the use of her death and Harry's grief to affect his decisions. Markle researched everything she could for what she and her friends called the 'Mommy#2' project, even wearing Diana's favourite perfume to their first date, quoting her verbatim time and time again, the interview lies were the issues Diana said she had faced in her book.
To persuade him in asserting Diana is guiding him through her.
My partner attended the same school. This is not a happy Harry, Diana would not be happy either.

Diana was born into the aristocracy in the UK. She had a sister that went out with Charles for a year. So she knew, and grew up knowing, how it worked. She, like all of us, saw Prince Philip walking behind the Queen and NEVER upstaging her so Diana didn't NEED the same level of help.
If Diana had lived, I don’t think there would be such a rift between her sons. She would have mediated any difficulties that they might have had between them. Or she might have just knock their heads together until they worked it out. And there would be no Meghan there causing trouble & turmoil. I don’t think Diana would have tolerated that woman but she wouldn’t have had to deal with that because If his mother had lived, Harry would be a very different person & would have never been looking for someone like Meghan. He probably would never even have met her. He certainly wouldn’t have needed someone like her in his life if his mother had lived.
True, but I don't think Diana would have loved Kate either. Kate's inner core of strength and her genuine maturity may have left Diana feeling a bit insecure and emotional. And if Meghan had got through Diana's firewall, meghan's competitiveness with Diana would have left Diana feeling baffled and on the backfoot.

William has a loving relationship with his wife. He and Kate are the perfect couple. Harry is in a controlling relationship with a narcissistic wife. Harry’s relationship is not a healthy relationship. Narcissists are not happy people (I grew up with one; my mother and she was not a happy person). Diana wanted her sons to remain as brothers. She would not like the rift between William and Harry.
Police protection would never stop the boos this couple generates whilst in the UK. Which is what really hurts them.
I did not like the views of the participants in this interview. Furthermore, I will not read the book, "A Portrait of Diana" as I do not feel the contents are based on anything more than the impressions of the author as related to her by Ken Wharfe. Suffice to say, I do not believe a lot of what they are saying as there has been extensive writings from other authors with conclusive evidence disproving what was said in this interview. Suffice to say, I question the accurateness and validity of the information and have to wonder if money is the motivation for Ken Wharfe softening/changing his perspective on how & why Diana died in the '97 car crash in Paris. As I recall from that time, Wharfe was convinced the Princesses' death was due to a drunk driving accident. Furthermore, Diana, Princess of Wales was not wearing a safety seat belt. So, I have to take this interview with a huge grain of salt!

Harry was one of the most popular royals until Meghan came along. He had great potential to do great things and was loved by the public and the media in a way that Margaret and Andrew never were. He was also supported and protected by his family and was given the benefit of the doubt by the media/public (the nazi costume/naked Vegas, etc). In the end he bit the hands that fed him (his family and the media), pushed on by a narc wife who has isolated him from his family and turned him against his biggest supporters.

I grew up in Canada and now live in AMerica. I was an adult during the Diana years and followed her story. I found this interview quite biased in favor of Meghan and don’t understand why? don’t see any similarity between Diana and MEghan. Meghan IMO was a self serving opportunist who had no intention of serving the Monarchy, I believe MEgan’s agenda was to marry Harry, have the anchor babies, get the Royal connection and go back to AMerican to get fame and fortune by grifting off the Royal family. I think the guests need to read Tom Bowers’s book.

Excellent advice because the book they have written seems to be a fairy tale. They are both English so should know very well just how Harry and Markle were treated when they came to the UK for the Queen's Jubilee. I can only presume that the book had already gone to print.

I'd love to hear their take on what Diana would have thought of the person Meghan Markle has been found to be in her character...especially knowing the lies she's told, her use of males and some females so she could manipulate her way to the top of society. She may have been popular, at first, until her true character started to show and people started to come out about her past and the treatment of her father, Thomas Markle. After Thomas had the heart attack, she didn't even care about him, this man that took care of her while her mother was in prison and then who paid for her entire education?? I wish those questions would have been asked as it would have given us all insight into Diana. I know in my heart that she would 100% approve of Catherine, but ultimately what about Meghan?

Have to disagree with the comparison between Diana and Markle being in the royal family. Markle got a lot more support for welcoming her in the palace, Bower confirms FOURTEEN employees tried to help Markle. The issue isn’t that she was was welcomed or not, but she kept gaslighting EVERYONE. How do you propose working with someone who does that?! It’s insulting to keeping hearing people try to compare her to Diana, Diana has the reputation of a loved lady who risked a lot for either some happiness on her part, if not that, looked to find some happiness for others. Markle doesn’t care about anyone but herself. The way she slandered her family internationally says everything about her character. Shame on you guys for doing this.

It always amazes me that people who worked for diana are such experts on how she would behave today! Both Ken wharf and Paul burrel have made lots of money through the last 25 years keeping diana alive with their stories, what they forget although they may have seen diana close up, they were employees not partner's, they have no idea how diana would have thought today! The world is a diffent place to what it was when she was alive! It would be beneficial to have guests who are aware of all aspects of the Meghan debacle. For example, the lovely lady says that MM wasn't supported . MM was given 14 people to support her but she took no notice of any of them. The lovely lady needs to read Tom Bower's book before she opines.

Diana let her security go, she was in a car with seat belt on, and the driver had been drinking and speeding. Had nothing to do with security, it was bad choices, which sadly ended tragically!
The driver was not drunk, and was told to drive fast to escape paparazzi.
Diana did not have her seat belt on when she was in that car accident, also Dodi was not wearing his seat belt either.

Diana, Princess of Wales, was one of a kind. With that being said, there was not just one side to Diana. She was multi-faceted, like a caleidoscope with different colors and different patterns. Being that she was so intuitive, I believe like any mother, she saw the different needs and personalities of each of her boys and would meet their needs with compassion, gentle or firm instruction, and discipline as needed.
From what has been shown in various video footage, Harry was her spitfire son who needed much stronger guidance and correction than Prince William did as a child. I believe that Diana would have been the right person to communicate with Harry, regarding his romantic relationships better than anyone else in his life, especially regarding Meghan Markle.
I too, do not believe that Harry would have been open to the lure of manipulations from Markle if his mother were still alive. He would not be the same wounded soul and controlled puppet on strings that we see today. Therefore, Harry would be in a far different and better place from benefitting from his mother's love, care, and counsel than he is at this present time without her.
There is no point to drawing parallels between Meghan and Diana. Charles wed to ensure the line of succession. Whoever Harry married was of no consequence because his offspring would be too far removed from the throne. He could have married one of his chums from Eton and it would have made no difference. Unhappily the royals failed to cherish Diana and cultivate her natural gifts, wasting a phenomenal asset and the most dazzling jewel in the crown. Charles resented her charm. She was used as a breeding cow and expected to do no more than wave and smile. The royal household was complicit with Charles in facilitating his adultery. Nobody protected his wife's interests. She was expected to suffer in silence so I will not fault her for speaking out.
Diana fooled around behind Charles back as well. It was a unhappy marriage simple as that. I wish people would stop trying to make Diana into some Virtuous saint.
And as an American you know all of this how? Whilst many mistakes were made by the royals, I think diana has to take some blame herself, she wasn't completely innocent! And your comment she was the jewel in our royal crown, how so? She was very attractive and very relatable, but no more important than any of the other royals! She had her part to play just like the rest! Had she been more clever she could have used her influence and charm to make her husband more relalable to the public, but she didn't, she used her charm to take the spotlight away from him she could of charmed her way into his life by being patient , neither charles or diana really knew each other , but throwing temper tantrums and throwing yourself down stairs is hardly likely to garner the attention you want! And let's not forget diana had her share of affairs as well!
Diana was the first to commit adultery in the marriage with her Body Guard. Charles resumed his affair with Camilla one year later. Speak out by all means, but do not lie. She said there were three in the marriage and it was a bit crowded, actually there were 4 in the marriage so it was even more crowded. She said Charles should never be King. This comment was just spiteful and something she later came to regret. She also said that the Crown should pass to William. From this I deduce that she wanted the Royal Family to continue.

This voice was lacking and in my view very necessary. I hope your book brings a better assessment than all the others that have been written. Diana deserves a truthful legacy.

The episode was excellent! It seems that Diana was a person that people wanted to see on a constant basis and Diana always conducted herself properly,,, where Meghan has several PR companies that are constantly putting her out there by Meghan’s request. Meghan has lied about pretty much everything and if Diana lied,, and I’m sure she did to a degree it was done with respect and class something that is not there with Meghan and Harry.

Here are some facts: When Harry moved he and Markel to America from the UK, he moved them right into the lap of danger, with a security team or not! Harry has made the same mistake his mother made, in the area of their safety, when Diana turned her security protection down. Harry and his family would have been much safer living in the UK. The general public in the UK don't carry guns around, or military type rifles, like they do in America, and legally!! There are thousands of murders every year In America as a result of the prolification of guns and rifles here. Harry should have known that! If he didn't, Markle certainly did, she lived in America most of her life and guns, crimes, and murders are reported in the network news every day here! Yet Harry mistakenly thinks his security is in danger in the UK when in fact it's not, it's in America where Harry has chosen for he and his family to live. Plus, California is among the highest crime & murder States by numbers to live in!! People, Including Harry know Diana was "Chased to her death" in France by FRENCH PHOTOGRAPHERS, NOT UK photographers and not in the UK! Even though Harry knows this, he continues to blame the British press for his mothers death! Does anyone see the irony in this and the way Harry thinks about his unsafe security issues in the UK, besides me?
