450hp (they dyno at 420whp, putting it closer to 480hp) and capable of 27+ mpg and you DONT want to mention fuel mileage? Disappointing.

My S6 is most at home on the freeway, where it gets an honest 27 mpg.
Mine too. Gas mileage not bad in this car despite the reviewers' comment.

So nice. ....classy. ...they could have a simpler stripped down manual gear version as well imo. ...that would have been so right for many buyers I believe.

Agreed. The take rate on a manual for this class is somewhere in the ballpark of 3-5%. While it would be nice, there is no way Audi or any other manufacturer would spend precious R&D for that little of a return. I think the S3 and S5 have a manual though.
I think they would have been surprised with a bare-bones stripped down manual version of the S6. ....so many would have wanted to drive that cool beast. ..it would have been selling like hotcakes I believe. ...they could have reduced the price on that considerably. ....just pedals, steering wheel and a shifter. ...nothing fancy. ....I would have loved to own one.

Its crazy that they use the exact same engine in the RS7 performance where it puts out 605HP and 550 lb/ft
pascogiguere The block is the only thing that is same. Internals,bearings,cams,injectors, and turbos are different.
@DannyG You can easily match the RS6 by tuning an S6 however the S-tronic gear box isnt built for that much power

My S6 is parked in my drive way rusting away. Tired of the f**king non stop repairs. Be smart..stay away.
Looking to get a 2017 S6, what repair issues did you run into? I would really appreciate your feedback man
@@Specifix The list is long, but here are a few. The clamps holding the mufflers rotted away and luckily i managed to fix them before damaging the mufflers. This car has never been winter driven. Code P2753 Transmission fluid cooler control circuit/open. Code 154624 Adaptive cruise control..not working. Has been fixed a dfew times now. Code 51 and 379 Air conditioning codes. In the summer no a/c. Code 34 Climate control unit rear code. P1624 Engine control module. Code 264 Gateway code..solenoid valve 4 (n91) Code 10617 Transmission Control module code . transmission fluid control valve. Code 65281 Cental elctrics code. Code 920 1 door electronics passenger side code. Code P0303 Cylinder 3 misfire. 1 on-board camera code. Code 403200 2 ride control system codes. Code 453633 Pressure transmitter for level control residual pressure for lowering rear axle too low. I have a few other fixes that were done. All these codes starting to show up exactly 2 weeks after the warranty expired. I love taking care of my cars and l love the Audi S6..beautiful interior, super fast etc...but lets face it..its a lemon.
