Very good question! Yes you can use both together as your OS is already on the SSD. If you have space for a SATA HDD, you can plug it in and restart your laptop. The new drive should appear under 'Disk Management' . Just format then partition the drive and it will show in 'My computer'/'This PC'

Hi.. if you add higher frequency RAM it will run at the frequency of the existing RAM. So instead of 3200 MHz both will perform at 2667 MHz. Also, make sure to check which all RAM frequencies are compatible with your professor.

Open the laptop and check if primary memory/RAM is soldered in motherboard. If yes then buy 8GB else you can replace primary RAM with 16GB. Make sure frequency is same.

You can either use 4GB DDR4 2666 mhz RAM in the given slot and make it dual channel with total memory of 8GB. Else use 16GB in second slot and make it single channel. It's very bad that Lenovo has soldered the RAM to the mother board. Cost saving technique. They should mention this clearly on the website.

Hey thanks a lot. Yes it was really slow previously. After increasing RAM it was better. But best solution is to stop the Windows search background service. There are more videos on how to make it faster.

If you put a 2667 and a 3200 it could damage in the future but I recommend you 3200 and 3200
