  • Repairing And replacing the rear quarter panel tail light of a Chevrolet Traverse 2019. This unit is approximately $500 plus tax depending on where you’re looking online or dealership could be even more expensive with quotes north of $600 plus tax CAD. There is the ability to remove a lower bracket on the light housing to ensure further repairs do not need to involve taking apart the back part of your vehicle.
This video was created to help others who may be in a similar situation and ensure that at least a turn light and greenlight are functioning.

mass idiocy cars have turned into. 60k for this piece of shit and you gotta rip 1/2 the car (and this applies to all new makes i'm sure) and hack in a bulb which used to be easily replaced and cost 2.49.

Is it possible to replace the wiring harness with a new one? Mine looks like all connectors have been blown out and show corrosion?
    Thank you.

I would reach out to the dealership or my preferred retailer Rock Auto. I used a volt meter to test the wiring harness for current and spliced into the ones I needed. My one contact was corroded and the pin gone. I've had to change the LED strip 3x now as the lights were too dull during the day. Even with high intensity LEDs its not perfect but there is light, brake, and turn signal operation. Good luck.

The initial light failed and blew out last week. I picked up an a red 12v rated LED at Princess Auto. This light is a exterior rated “marker” light designed for roof lights or a panel bar. The light actually sits loose (taped in place on the outside) inside the housing. I had problems with another of the amazing lights when building an ice shelter but didn’t expect it to fail so quickly.
