Series x is by far the most powerful console ive owned. Halo, cod, bf4, etc etc look completely different and load times on games, especially older ones is almost nonexistent especially with quick resume feature
Quick resume is just goated change between youtube and any game in 3 seconds is so satisfying when i'm eating. I 've never closed red dead redemtion 2 and resume in and instant is the final touch
The textures in mw3 are worse than in mw2. That’s been a topic of discussion since the beta. The games optimization since the integration between games has also been a factor in low performance. The servers for pretty much all these newer cod games are incredibly bad, lagging out entire games in dmz and warzone since the launch of mw2.
Yup..I had mw2019 on xbox one x-perfect image quality. Then, mw2 I bought on ps5- grainy, aliased game comparatively because they started using fsr2 to upscale. Mw2 and 3 look worse on next gen consoles than mw2019 does on One X! Here's the kicker- despite upgrading to Series X nw2019 campaign is unplayable stutterfest because of all the crap they added into the launcher when mw2 and vanguard came out and these bastard devs at Activision don't have the decency to bother fixing it. It's crazy. You can spend $70 on a game now and due to publisher greed and laziness, you don't know if in a year your game will be broken or not.
Series X is being the strongest one just makes me happy. Playstation already has the coldest games but Xbox with the strongest performance is just a tease. I feel like the series x is just teasing people to show that xbox is PC brand for sure.

In my experience the Xbox is far superior in every way other than the actual games. I play R6 on PC and Console, and I immediately noticed that the Xbox series S had lower input delay. However the PS5 has many exclusives that I like to play. Which really sucks because I wish I could just have 1 PC and play everything.
Pretty much all ps exclusive games are on PC, if not they will be soon. I’ll stick to Xbox, don’t need an over priced PC which runs $800 and up when I get the same frame rate and visuals on a $499 Xbox

All good to save money, but you arent sticking to xbox for the same frame rate and visuals... youre sticking to it because it is what you can afford. I'm on Xbox Series S at 1440p/120hz. The quality in textures is poor in MW3 which is why i think I'm getting more fps. I've been comparing both MW2 and MW3, with same settings, and textures in MW2 are much better. Also played MW3 on my 4K/60hz TV and it still looks awful. The colors pop, though, so Ill give them that.
@@Hyzpen Kinda late, but here I am, sorry. My issue was with 1440p and 4K. Didn't try 1080p since I'm on 32" monitor and 1080p isn't optimal for that size. In fact, lowering my resolution to 1080p would have caused the game to look worse than it did anyway. It was way pixelated and visibility wasn't great. Operators, at times looked how they do now in the limited release of Warzone Mobile. For anyone reading this comment and want to know somewhat more, Espresso talks about the differences on PC, PS4/5, XBOX One/Series X. Exactly consoles is far better than PC gaming because I have i7 4770 with amd rx 570 but my gpu recently died and I am thinking to buy rtx 2060 but i saw so many videos cpu will bottleneck with rtx 2060 and then i will have to upgrade cpu then I will be not getting 100 to 120 fps smooth. Series X is definitely the more powerful console and my go to for multiplayer gaming. Games pass Ultimate is amazing as well. Although the ps5 exclusive single player games do appeal to me more. I prefer the Xbox controller for MP gaming and the DualShock for single player experiences. Just all comes to preference. If I had to pick I’d go Series X tho.
I’m taking back my series s because I can’t believe how bad the image/resolution is of things at a distance. I had an X at one point, sold it, and now I’ve got to go back to it, because for multiplayer games like this, the S just isn’t enough. You’ll be at a decent disadvantage with the S tbh. So if you want the most out of your experience, go with the X
@@jaydenchui5948 perhaps. Part of my issue is I play on a 1440p monitor. If I set the s to 1440p the image is bad, and if I changed it to 1080p, both on my monitor and the S, it was still bad. It felt almost like playing the later games that came out and were being optimized for S/X in an Xbox one. The image just lacked almost all detail at distances.
Series S in Warzone is not supergreat, but in MP where maps are small it's quite alright. But buying a console half the price of Series X will naturally have some compromises.

It's the same thing, you don't feel any difference when you play... I tested it on Series X and it doesn't change anything, and when you feel fps losses you feel them in the same way as on the PS5 so its comparisons are wrong. It's been 3 years that idiots have been swallowing everything. 😂

I’ve got the s just because it was cheaper still has great graphics and I’ve always had Xbox since the beginning so it would be strange to change over to ps I’ve had a ps before but i just prefer the Xbox but the Sony stepped up when they released the ps5
I have massive Frame Drops on my X on some maps. PS5 feels fine tho. Idk how to explain it, but the Series X sometimes feels like it dips below 60 even with 120hz mode. I have no idea why

Having a 4090 runs games with 160-200 fps at 4K with max settings .The same games at 1440 on a ps5 or SX struggle to get above 30fps, some fixed to 60 but they cut back on graphics or lower resolution. So for anyone even thinking consoles are even comparable are so deluded. But based on what I see the Xbox is slightly better.
MSRP for the graphics card is $1650 if you can find it at that price. So 120fps for 499 bucks vs a 2.5K USD plus PC system getting 160 to 200fps doesn't even compare. Console will win each time due to price.

Do you get 10x the performance NO, but its mind blowing different with 10x the power of console GPU’s, but watching video on UT you will only see smoothness differences or enhanced detail it’s when you compare the resolutions with the other advantages that blow the mind how different it is. And it’s true console owners will never understand unless you see first hand. Console specs are always weak to suit mass sale. That will never change. Why would they be any different. On release they are outdated, so a few years down the line obsolete.

@@willy7968 if you want better value for money you'd be better going for an AMD graphics card over anything Nvidia offers. Their prices are a rip off for marginally better performance compared to AMD cards. If you do go Nvidia then don't go for any of the 40XX series. They're not very energy efficient compared to the increase in performance. Stick with the 30XX if you go that route.

What made me stick with the nvidia is the fact that, here in my country(Nigeria) nvidia has a better 2nd hand value. I had a $2000+ PC. I sold it because the amount of money you have to spend to get equal quality compared to a consoles performance and price is flat out retarded. I don’t even know why this is still an argument. You CANNOT spend the equal $550 on a pc that you do in the series X and get these numbers at 1440. Sometimes even at 1080. Pc parts are EXPENSIVE. They add up quick. Plus I beat people all the time in lobbies with my $550 Xbox and they’re on their multi thousand dollar pc setup just to get owned. Pc is NICE. When you spend big money and you got that 1440 monitor with 120+ frames LOCKED and all your sliders are up, it is a BEAUTIFUL thing. But you’re not getting that for anywhere near $550 even if you buy used.
Well first of all, as this guy says, of course if his testing is precise and valid, PS5 on performance mode gets around 110 FPS on average with sometimes going close to 120 and sometimes even dropping below 100 while Xbox Series X gets like locked solid 120 FPS. So as a PC user I can tell you for a fact that you definitely see when the difference is at around 10 to 20 FPS.
Makes sense Xbox X is stronger since they dropped it at the same time as the S but the pro will actually have a difference you won’t have to struggle to notice
If I had to choose between PS5 and Series X I’d choose a PS5 still not being fan boyish or anything. I purely enjoy the titles that come with owning a PlayStation. GoT, Spider-Man, God of War, etc. I don’t really care about performance anyways. But Microsoft has always exceeded in that area for consoles.
This kind of sucks. I mean.. I have both PS5 and XSX, but I obviously don't want to buy the game for BOTH consoles. That's dumb. But I have a Sony TV that works VERY well with my PS5 and it looks gorgeous. I mean, the new Spider-Man 2 game... Unbelievable. But it seems like Microsoft is intentionally making the game better for XSX even though the PS5 could run it the same way. Seems like favoritism. I still think I'm going to buy it for PS5 simply because my son plays on PS5 as well, so it just makes it easier for us to chat and play together. But I obviously want the best quality console version and it really just sucks that Microsoft seems to be intentionally giving Sony the shaft on a series like this.
Its literally the same experience. Going from 60fps to 90 is massive. Anything over 100+ is hardly noticeable unless you record and watch frame by frame and look for the slightest blur. People be stupid

@IchMagbeume there is no setting on MW3 that shows your FPS on console , there is a 120fps mode to turn on BUT you cannot personally see the FPS counter

Some games like Fortnite lets you see the FPS while you play, you enable this is settings and you will see it next to your mini-map. But most console games will give you "Quality" or "Performance" when you start the game, targeting 30 or 60FPS. Keep in mind, targeting - The console will try to maintain 30 or 60FPS but can fail to do so if the developers has been somewhat lazy.
I’m a sucker for performance. I could care less about graphics. If they did let you change them on console I would lower them to very low. Just for the extra frames. I could care less about reading a logo on a crate or super detailed comic books just laying on the ground 😅.
Not saying the Xbox isn’t more powerful (but slightly regardless) but the comparison isn’t fair, obviously 120hz would be better to achieve on rust for the Xbox SX, I’m sure the Ps5 would’ve ran locked 120 also because even the series S was closer to 120hz on rust if you see GPU benchmarks rust is the easiest / lightest map to run but regardless great video hope the fan boys don’t get too caught up
The Series X is around 15% more powerful than the PS5 (some devs say 20%), so the fact that the PS5 can still be pushed to 95% of the frame rate of the Series X is actually a nice surprise. I dare say the PS5 was the lead console platform. Obviously now that COD is owned by Microsoft Xbox will be the lead console platform going forward so expect the performance gap between the PS5 and more powerful Series X to get larger on following games.

I think 90-100 is good enough. It comes down to the Series S vs. X price - if you can afford the extra money just get the X - better in the long run. And if its possible for you to even return/exchange. If too late now - just keep the Series S, its a good machine for the price.
I would try adjusting your response time and AMD sync on your monitor if you have one. See how it plays warzone 2 with response time off, normal, fast, faster. I'm playing on series x with 2k 120fps lg monitor and warzone looks way better when I have response time turned off. Note this won't affect fps but might make game look and play better. Good luck

I think call of duty has been getting optimized more on Xbox secretly because everyone could see that the Activision deal was going to go through but I've noticed that some games run better on ps5 on release and it's not like ps5 is more powerful but because Sony payed to get the game to get better optimized on there console which is not a bad thing or because some people that worked on game's for Xbox and ps5 was a Sony fan boy and that's pretty sad to see but i really like both consoles there great

No. You need 2.1 hdmi display if you want 120hz and 4k. But if you have 1080/1440p display, you can reach 120hz if the display supports it and no 2.1 hdmi needed :)
You need to have HDMI 2.1 if you run 4K and 120FPS at the same time, but only HDMI 2.0 if you want say 1440p and 120FPS. But keep in mind that no PS5 or Xbox game is running both 4K and 120FPS at the same time. You can make it run 4K but often at 30 or 60 FPS. Often called fidelity mode in games. Now if you select 120FPS then the console will lower resoluton to somewhere between 1080-1400p to achiveve that. Depending on the game.@@colorblind2328

The textures in mw3 are worse than in mw2. That’s been a topic of discussion since the beta. The games optimization since the integration between games has also been a factor in low performance. The servers for pretty much all these newer cod games are incredibly bad, lagging out entire games in dmz and warzone since the launch of mw2.
Yup..I had mw2019 on xbox one x-perfect image quality. Then, mw2 I bought on ps5- grainy, aliased game comparatively because they started using fsr2 to upscale.
Mw2 and 3 look worse on next gen consoles than mw2019 does on One X!
Here's the kicker- despite upgrading to Series X nw2019 campaign is unplayable stutterfest because of all the crap they added into the launcher when mw2 and vanguard came out and these bastard devs at Activision don't have the decency to bother fixing it.
It's crazy. You can spend $70 on a game now and due to publisher greed and laziness, you don't know if in a year your game will be broken or not.

In my experience the Xbox is far superior in every way other than the actual games. I play R6 on PC and Console, and I immediately noticed that the Xbox series S had lower input delay. However the PS5 has many exclusives that I like to play. Which really sucks because I wish I could just have 1 PC and play everything.
It sounds stupid but I prefer R6 on console and play it on PC. I was honestly thinking of just getting the Series S for R6.

I'm on Xbox Series S at 1440p/120hz. The quality in textures is poor in MW3 which is why i think I'm getting more fps. I've been comparing both MW2 and MW3, with same settings, and textures in MW2 are much better. Also played MW3 on my 4K/60hz TV and it still looks awful. The colors pop, though, so Ill give them that.

@@Hyzpen Kinda late, but here I am, sorry. My issue was with 1440p and 4K. Didn't try 1080p since I'm on 32" monitor and 1080p isn't optimal for that size. In fact, lowering my resolution to 1080p would have caused the game to look worse than it did anyway. It was way pixelated and visibility wasn't great. Operators, at times looked how they do now in the limited release of Warzone Mobile.

Series X is definitely the more powerful console and my go to for multiplayer gaming. Games pass Ultimate is amazing as well. Although the ps5 exclusive single player games do appeal to me more. I prefer the Xbox controller for MP gaming and the DualShock for single player experiences. Just all comes to preference. If I had to pick I’d go Series X tho.
I’m taking back my series s because I can’t believe how bad the image/resolution is of things at a distance. I had an X at one point, sold it, and now I’ve got to go back to it, because for multiplayer games like this, the S just isn’t enough. You’ll be at a decent disadvantage with the S tbh. So if you want the most out of your experience, go with the X

@@jaydenchui5948 perhaps. Part of my issue is I play on a 1440p monitor. If I set the s to 1440p the image is bad, and if I changed it to 1080p, both on my monitor and the S, it was still bad. It felt almost like playing the later games that came out and were being optimized for S/X in an Xbox one. The image just lacked almost all detail at distances.
Series S in Warzone is not supergreat, but in MP where maps are small it's quite alright. But buying a console half the price of Series X will naturally have some compromises.

Having a 4090 runs games with 160-200 fps at 4K with max settings .The same games at 1440 on a ps5 or SX struggle to get above 30fps, some fixed to 60 but they cut back on graphics or lower resolution. So for anyone even thinking consoles are even comparable are so deluded. But based on what I see the Xbox is slightly better.
MSRP for the graphics card is $1650 if you can find it at that price. So 120fps for 499 bucks vs a 2.5K USD plus PC system getting 160 to 200fps doesn't even compare. Console will win each time due to price.

And it’s true console owners will never understand unless you see first hand. Console specs are always weak to suit mass sale. That will never change. Why would they be any different. @@willy7968 if you want better value for money you'd be better going for an AMD graphics card over anything Nvidia offers. Their prices are a rip off for marginally better performance compared to AMD cards.
If you do go Nvidia then don't go for any of the 40XX series. They're not very energy efficient compared to the increase in performance. Stick with the 30XX if you go that route.

I had a $2000+ PC. I sold it because the amount of money you have to spend to get equal quality compared to a consoles performance and price is flat out retarded. I don’t even know why this is still an argument. You CANNOT spend the equal $550 on a pc that you do in the series X and get these numbers at 1440. Sometimes even at 1080. Pc parts are EXPENSIVE. They add up quick. Plus I beat people all the time in lobbies with my $550 Xbox and they’re on their multi thousand dollar pc setup just to get owned. Pc is NICE. When you spend big money and you got that 1440 monitor with 120+ frames LOCKED and all your sliders are up, it is a BEAUTIFUL thing. But you’re not getting that for anywhere near $550 even if you buy used.

Well first of all, as this guy says, of course if his testing is precise and valid, PS5 on performance mode gets around 110 FPS on average with sometimes going close to 120 and sometimes even dropping below 100 while Xbox Series X gets like locked solid 120 FPS.
So as a PC user I can tell you for a fact that you definitely see when the difference is at around 10 to 20 FPS.

If I had to choose between PS5 and Series X I’d choose a PS5 still not being fan boyish or anything. I purely enjoy the titles that come with owning a PlayStation. GoT, Spider-Man, God of War, etc. I don’t really care about performance anyways. But Microsoft has always exceeded in that area for consoles.

Some games like Fortnite lets you see the FPS while you play, you enable this is settings and you will see it next to your mini-map.
But most console games will give you "Quality" or "Performance" when you start the game, targeting 30 or 60FPS.
Keep in mind, targeting - The console will try to maintain 30 or 60FPS but can fail to do so if the developers has been somewhat lazy.

I’m a sucker for performance. I could care less about graphics. If they did let you change them on console I would lower them to very low. Just for the extra frames. I could care less about reading a logo on a crate or super detailed comic books just laying on the ground 😅.
Not saying the Xbox isn’t more powerful (but slightly regardless) but the comparison isn’t fair, obviously 120hz would be better to achieve on rust for the Xbox SX, I’m sure the Ps5 would’ve ran locked 120 also because even the series S was closer to 120hz on rust if you see GPU benchmarks rust is the easiest / lightest map to run but regardless great video hope the fan boys don’t get too caught up

The Series X is around 15% more powerful than the PS5 (some devs say 20%), so the fact that the PS5 can still be pushed to 95% of the frame rate of the Series X is actually a nice surprise. I dare say the PS5 was the lead console platform. Obviously now that COD is owned by Microsoft Xbox will be the lead console platform going forward so expect the performance gap between the PS5 and more powerful Series X to get larger on following games.

I think 90-100 is good enough. It comes down to the Series S vs. X price - if you can afford the extra money just get the X - better in the long run. And if its possible for you to even return/exchange.
If too late now - just keep the Series S, its a good machine for the price.
I would try adjusting your response time and AMD sync on your monitor if you have one. See how it plays warzone 2 with response time off, normal, fast, faster. I'm playing on series x with 2k 120fps lg monitor and warzone looks way better when I have response time turned off. Note this won't affect fps but might make game look and play better. Good luck

I think call of duty has been getting optimized more on Xbox secretly because everyone could see that the Activision deal was going to go through but I've noticed that some games run better on ps5 on release and it's not like ps5 is more powerful but because Sony payed to get the game to get better optimized on there console which is not a bad thing or because some people that worked on game's for Xbox and ps5 was a Sony fan boy and that's pretty sad to see but i really like both consoles there great

The xbox has better memory than the ps5 for example with would benefit and make it run better tha the ps5 in certain games because of whatever engine or code developers have for the game whereas for example the GPU on the PS5 even tho it has a lower raw power output it has a higher clock speed
Developers create their games with the hardware at hand and use try their best to make it as optimal as the HARDWARE would let them.

No. You need 2.1 hdmi display if you want 120hz and 4k. But if you have 1080/1440p display, you can reach 120hz if the display supports it and no 2.1 hdmi needed :)

You need to have HDMI 2.1 if you run 4K and 120FPS at the same time, but only HDMI 2.0 if you want say 1440p and 120FPS. But keep in mind that no PS5 or Xbox game is running both 4K and 120FPS at the same time. You can make it run 4K but often at 30 or 60 FPS. Often called fidelity mode in games.
Now if you select 120FPS then the console will lower resoluton to somewhere between 1080-1400p to achiveve that. Depending on the game.@@colorblind2328
